I love your soaps and dough. You are an inspiration to me. I am a fly by night soaper, chandelier and crafter for friends and family. I have purchased your soaps and love them. They are unique. I enjoy your Hocus Pocus! I think one should always move forward and never look back unless it's to re analyze your creativity as you said you have done. Humans are not perfect and meanness and hatred are abundant for sure. Honesty and respect don't seem to have a place in this world anymore. Move forward and keep creating. You have a lot of talent and you seem to be channeling in a good direction for yourself. You will survive with your courage and will draw from the strength that you have within you. Can't wait to see where you are headed. BTW this is the first comment I have EVER posted on any KZbin channel as I am a silent bystander in the social media world because I hate seeing meanness and hatred people. It hearts my heart.

@sorcerysoap 6 күн бұрын
@@veranita1867 No worries, thank you for clarifying. Cornstarch is acceptable to use when working with soap dough as a way to keep the dough from sticking. I wouldn't use it in the making process (as an ingredient) in cold process. If the soap dough that has cornstarch on it is sprayed with 91% rubbing alcohol the cornstarch will be removed. I hope this helps and best of luck on your soap dough journey! Thank you for the question. :)

Digging deep inside yourself is rarely done for many people. I’m so glad you’re doing this and inspiring others to do the same. I’ve had a rough time lately also and have wondered what the point is to my life right now. I’ve had people who were very close to me absolutely turn on me and I cannot for the life of me figure out why they did these things. It’s hurt me deeply and I’ve had to reevaluate myself and who I want around me, leaving only a few left in my life, which is ok. I don’t understand why and how people can be so mean. I’m also creative and haven’t been able to make soap due to having to move abruptly to get out of the situation I was put in by the mean people, my things are in storage, and I’ve struggled to create. I’ve started making paper beads but they’re not satisfying my deep creative desires. I’m behind ya on doing the things that give ya purpose and inspire ya, and creating things for others to help them in some sort of way. I understand where you’re coming from. I’m also looking for truth. I’m unhappy because I’m stuck not being able to do the creative things that inspire me and help others. You’ve given me a lot to think about. Thanks for this. I appreciate ya. Truly. I’m looking forward to seeing what happens with ya in the future. Hugz, Tree

Then, I thought, I'll check my email. And here is your sincere and heartfelt comment. Thank you for being in the world, @godzharelygirlstudio and offering your life-force to write this comment. Cant you just weigh each soap dough ball for the weight you want, then put into the barrel and press? That will give you consistent pieces without worrying about how thick to roll the dough.

Congratulations to the winners! For your sister, sometimes a storm needs to run its course. It needs to unleash its pent up rage, like a tantruming toddler. The toddler never knows why, just that it has to release the emotions to get to the point of calm and the ability to move forward. Severe storms leave damage in their wake. We are left to sift through the pieces finding what we know is important and use those pieces to rebuild into something new. Coming to an understanding of what we need to let go of. Sometimes those storms are hard and fast and blow up out of nowhere, sometimes they start slow and build up over days. I think you may know this type of storm, Bee, as you are transitioning into (onto) something new yourself. We all experience storms such as these at times.

Oh, Bee! Where to start? Writing, I believe, in and of itself is magical. I love to write. I tend to write a lot of flash fiction. I am either writing total fiction or total philososphical bits that help me make sense of my world. I have books in every room and journals everywhere. I've done the book purges, only to re-buy the same ones again. A series I am reading is "The Green Rider" series by Kristen Britain. The first book was a struggle for me on the first couple of pages, but oh am I glad I stuck with it! Like everyone else who follows you, I would love to be included in the giveaway. But, I feel I have already won by finding you to begin with! While listening to this video I wrote a cinquain for you. It wont appear correctly here based on the format, but here it is. "Soap Dough Magical play Brining joy, creating Inspirational writing births ideas." Thank you, for all you have done for us soapers. Enjoy this new journey you are on. P.S. I am 59 this year too! and Herb was a lovely guest!

I love listening to you read from your books and your thoughts and insights on life and the world. I too love to read and wish I wrote like I used to in high school. Loosing thoughts as soon as they materialize happens to the best of us, or at least I hope they do? I also can’t remember how old I am, just old enough to know better 😉. You’re inspiring in your words and your work and I’m so glad I stumbled upon you. I have my first few batches down (of soap, with formulas based on yours) and I’m hoping to tackle soap dough and modeling soon. Making my own molds for my soap dough has been a work in progress. I have used small things found in the craft stores used for flower arrangements and shaped buttons. I even used real pecans with a pourable silicone. Looking for that flatness I saw in one of your other videos. It does make a huge difference. My own mold making isn't quite there yet. By far, the best mold I made was the little acorn mold. I made 2. One with amazing mold putty and one out of the silicone and dish soap process. Boy did that silicone/dish soap one STINK. I was afraid the smell would stick to the soap. But it didn't. Have a blessed day, Bee. 😃
