Keep listening to Linkin Park, not all songs are depressing. With Hybrid Theory being Linkin Park's first album, Mike Shinoda (the rapper), who had worked as a graphic designer before becoming a professional musician, has stated that the band had looked through books for inspiration on how to present themselves for the first time. The result was a winged-soldier which Shinoda illustrated himself. According to Chester Bennington (the singer), the idea of the soldier with dragonfly wings was to describe the blending of hard and soft musical elements by the use of the jaded looks of the soldier and frail touches of the wings.

Pretty impressive for a girl from Melbourne Australia who started her singing career in 1987 😁 Appreciate your reaction and Kylie’s music catalogue is massive so hopefully you’ll find a few songs you like 👍

Please show the correct thumbnail. This isn't Floor Jansen but the second singer Anette Olzon. Thank goodness it's a studio recording as very poor when live.

WELL DONE !! Glad you reacted so quickly. I have been able to avoid all the Tarja songs as you showed her in the thumbnail. LOL. I realise that you are a Tarja fan but for me she lacks the versatility, breath control and stage presence of Floor. Her interaction with the other bandmembers is on another level. She also gives a better live performance of this song than the studio version by Anette.

@@TheRealPinkWish I think it's a particularly visible aspect in the Nightwish fandom, that each of the 3 eras of the band (defined by the 3 female singers) has its own loyal fans. I see the situation a little differently, as Nightwish is like a train, and each of us got on at a different station :) but we are all traveling together with the band. It is absolutely natural to value what has touched you emotionally. And I understand you perfectly, because even though I went to Floor's station, I appreciate many of the performances from the previous eras of Nightwish, when they were together with Tarja or Anette.
