You really should accept This time he's gone for good He'll never come back now Even though he said he would So, darling, dry your eyes So many other guys Would give the world I'm sure To wear the shoes he wore Oh, c'mon smile a little smile for me, Rosemarie Where's the use in cryin'? In a little while you'll see, Rosemarie You must keep on tryin' I know that he hurt you bad I know, darling, don't be sad and Smile a little smile for me, Rosemarie, Rosemarie I guess you're lonely now Love's comin' to an end But, darling, only now Are you free to try again Lift up your pretty chin Don't let those tears begin You're a big girl now And you'll pull through somehow Oh, c'mon smile a little smile for me, Rosemarie Where's the use in cryin'? In a little while you'll see, Rosemarie You must keep on tryin' I know that he hurt you bad I know, darling, don't be sad and Smile a little smile for me, Rosemarie, Rosemarie Smile a little smile for me, Rosemarie, Rosemarie

For me, this song represents the Viet Nam war and all the young men whose lives were changed forever by that awful time. I had a draft number but was not called. Later while in my medical residency I took care of Viet Nam era veterans. This song makes me think of the young men who were sacrificed in that sad war. It really gets to me. It is among the most moving songs I have heard in my life.

I could hear this song a thousand times and cry every time..but what makes me cry even more is reading the comments..like the one that mother is dying and daughter was next to her singing for her .or the sister that ran away.. so sad ..but like the lyrics...we will pull through some how.. thank

I always love these videos with the group singing without mics, cords on the guitars to amps, drummers playing air and brass playing background.

Always loved ISB since I was a kid. Other worldly from a time when life was more simple and pure. Brings back beautiful memories. I met Mike Heron in 1991 when he played a gig in Hounslow shopping centre with his band The Incredible Acoustic Band. I had a chat with him after the show and he was so humble with practically no false ego. Different vibrations in a time that this world will sadly never see again. 'A Very Cellular Song' was one their best, but I love all their music.

This clip is priceless. Local-regional TV at its best. Mike Douglas is as white bread as you can get. Ann Miller is 44 years old. Roger Ailes (the late Fox News head) had his TV producing start at the Mike Douglas Show.

To ppl fretting over the horns being on a track and not being played a lot of bands did this. If you thought the horn at the end was funny watch "the letter". It wasnt that uncommon from what iv seen. Today the entire production is practically fake and ai etc.
