Wow! All of these great Kings players! And then I think of what mis-management did to them in the 3 years after the 2014 cup. Gone were Justin Williams, Marion Gaborik, Willie Mitchell (retired?), Dwight King, Colin Fraser, Mike Richards, Slava Voynov (spousal abuse), Robyn Regehr, Jordan Nolan, and later, guys like Jeff Carter, Kyle Clifford, Matt Greene, Trevor Lewis and, the player that was subjected to the worst treatment of all, Jonathan Quick. This treatment of players may be the same throughout pro hockey, but what mis-management did to these great Kings players that won 2 cups must not be forgiven or forgotten. I just saw today that Quentin Byfield, upon signing his extension, said that he wants to be a King for his whole career. Considering mis-management's player treatment record the past 10 seasons, good luck with that, Q! Loyalty is a great thing to have, but don't expect it in return from the mis-management wing of the Los Angeles Kings!

That was something else as a Kings fan since 1968. Waited 45 years to see the Kings raise the Cup. Sadly, with the current front office, I can’t see it happening again.

awful call by the refs on Williams 2-1 lead goal. puck was not covered by stalock but man you can't allow a call in which goalie is pushed in net with the puck.

I was at a music festival in the Midwest when the hawks went down 3-1. A random dude saw my hawks hat and gave me a pin he said “it’s too bad they aren’t gonna win the cup this year, they were unstoppable in the regular season” I agreed but still had some hope. I put the pin on my hat and they won the next 3 games.
