Ooo tough choice. I love the 1LE but corvettes are also an amazing driving experience.

I did the 3” tsp. I bought it in a kit that had the x pipe and the headers (catless setup). At first I cut up the stock npp and just clamped the stock mufflers to the x pipe but they kept getting loose so I swapped it for a corsa. The corsa catback doesn’t line up with the catless setup though, so I still have tsp down piping from the headers.

Car made 464/462 after tuning

@@1lebreezy243 nice, that is solid! I think that will be our first upgrade. Power is probably very noticeable with that gain.

@@thomaswood5246 biggest noticeable improvement was the immediate torque. I gotta admit the car tested very strong before the tune, these hp/tq figures are fairly high for just exhaust mods. Most ls3 cars I’ve seen with the same setup get between 400-420ish whp. No matter the numbers, it’ll be sure to sound good with headers and a nice catback 👍🏻

Factory npp exhaust never had a resonator. In this video I still had the factory mufflers on though.

Not bad. Slight drone under heavy throttle at lower rpm’s (for manuals) but not bad at all in normal rpm ranges around 1,500+

@@1lebreezy243 i put 305s on the back and i couldnt stand the effect it had on handling so i went back to 285s

@@sdmc1972 interesting, maybe it was just the type of tires causing handling issues? Wider tires usually help with handling. That’s why the 1LE comes stock with 285’s all around.

@1lebreezy the rear wheel is 11 front is 10 so the rear tires are slightly stretched to help understeer and make car more stable a wider tire eliminates stretch and cause more mushiness. When I increased width I used identical tire

It’s a lot louder. My car has headers and no cats which makes it even louder but even with the corsa exhaust alone it’s a significant amount louder than stock.

Yes it’s the zl1 exhaust. Only difference is the quad tips.

What xpipe are you guys using to fit with the npp exhaust

@@zmax765 I had an axle back exhaust from hurst. The NPP is a full exhaust from GM, as far as what x pipe fittings, just measure your mid pipe connections to your axle back. I had a mechanic get all of the specs for me.

Brandon Swanson I would choose Texas speed or kooks over speed engineering. More expensive but much better quality.
