We were adult only AP holders for years and had to tell many people many times that Disney is full of adult entertainment and good food, but you just have to know where to go. That’s still true. BUT even we were taken aback by the reduction in services along with the price increases and the growth of crowds a couple years ago and we stopped going.

Nah, they aren't "amazing" when they're more malfunctioning than actually functioning, specially the Tiana's Bayou animatronics... Universal's Epic Universe will blow Disney out of the water, Disney won't recover from that, mark my words.

I actually have a heavy duty charger I got at best buy a few years back that still works great and lasts 8+ hours, and is rechargeable

I just got back recently on my trip, stayed at all star sports for under $150 a night for a preferred room, got a good discount on it too

My guess is the least busy week in 2025 will be the week of may 25th when Univeral opens their 3rd gate. Because it's supposed to be "disney but better"

I've just booked my first ever US trip to Orlando. Doing 3 days of Universal (park 1, park 2, favorites), a day of rest, 1 day Disney parkhopper (Studios and Magic Kingdom), trip to Bush Gardens with local friends for the thrill rides, another day of rest, another day of Disney (Animal Kingdom and Epcot), and next day late flight home. I think I will need a vacation from my vacation, but at least I'm going on my own (except for the bush gardens day) so I can make my own decisions on what to do and when to rest. I planned week days in early may, so it shouldn't be too busy, so I hope to be able as many as possible E-tickets at all four parks.

I agree with everything in here, the one personal thing would be that Smuggler’s Run can be quite awkward being single in a party where you might feel weird speaking up about what to do or not matching the energy/excitement of the other party.

Nice video. I will say there is one hater comment I agree with which would be that you need to prep/learn so much prior to your trip. I feel so bad for families who just show up and have no plan, no tips, or strategy going in. There is a ton of options for places to learn (like this wonderful channel), but I still don’t like how complicated some of these systems are like virtual queue, lightning lane, etc. and feel like I have to give them a lecture prior to their vacation.

Great vid. And yes -- there's tons of haters because of novice mistakes. But after 35 years going with Mom n Dad; 20 years going with the Mrs., we have never had a bad time. Like, ever. Not exhausted. We stay in great resorts and homes for the price of cheap hotels. We maximize rides-per-hour. We eat well. We pace ourselves. And we do it all, even with all these insane price hikes, on a modest budget. What breaks my heart is all the friends and fam over the decades who end up going, completely avoid sound advice, then always always always come back complaining. And then they never go back. Meanwhile we're planning our 30th trip.

Mixed feelings about these! Like everyone, I’m sad to see another Parks-original IP (Rivers of America) shut down in favor of a kind of random movie IP. We’ll see how well Cars fits in with the rest of the Magic Kingdom… Souped-up Big Thunder Mtn. will be great, I’m sure. I always found Dinoland awfully generic, so I honestly don’t think I’ll miss it. I’ll be sad to see “Dinosaur” go, but the Indiana Jones ride in Disneyland is fantastic, so it will be a worthy replacement, and it will fit the park theming well. Encanto will too, although I can’t say the same for Zootopia. I’ve always had a special place in my heart for Muppet Vision 3D, but it is definitely getting a little long in the tooth. Moving the Muppets over to Rock’n’roller Coaster is…interesting. Even though Aerosmith is getting outdated, as one of Disney Parks’ biggest draws for teens and young adults, Muppet theming seems a poor, misguided choice for the ride’s theme. Plus, it seems odd to move the Muppet attraction AWAY from the Muppet-themed area of the park. This reflects a bigger problem fans have noticed lately, where the organic layout of Disney Parks seems to be giving to IP’s dumped in random spots. (Rivers of America turning into Cars is the same thing.) All in all…interesting point in Disney history. We’ll see how it goes.

This is inaccurate now. Florida says can't mess with wetlands. They have plenty of land they can expand on. Don't have to mess with wildlife. Thank goodness it's not happening.

Dinosaur being replaced by Indiana Jones - I like Dinosaur but after having ridden the Indiana Jones ride at Disneysea (which is the same ride type down to the rover vehicles) I feel a bit better about the change. A Bug's Life to Zootopia - also liked the original attraction but this one is becoming rather dated and I like Zootopia too so I accept this change. Rock 'n Roller coaster being rethemed to Muppets - this is fine too even though I do like my fair share of Aerosmith songs. Removing Muppetvision is just sinful and I'm upset I didn't get the chance to experience it one last time. Rivers of America replaced by Cars - I don't like this at all. Big Thunder Mountain refurbishment - no comment here.

Thinking of booking November 12-17th 2025. Trying to hit Christmas theme, but want to avoid the major holiday crowds and want a little warmer weather with hopes of pool days. Past two years we went last week of Halloween/first week of November and it was great. But Christmas is still not in full swing by that time. What are your thoughts for 12-17th next year?
