True story: I was sitting on my friend's balcony in Brisbane California in 1988 (my friend had dreads that reached the ground, he was from Jamaica) when I turned to him and asked "why do some people think Haile Selassie was a reincarnation of Jesus Christ?" when all of a sudden I had a FULL transcendental enlightenment awakening and vision and the heavens opened up and a real life hummingbird came and hovered right in front of my face when this was happening and I saw that Haile Selassie WAS Jesus Christ. As God is my witness, this is an absolutely true story.

Iyah, you're comparing Haile Selassie I's version of the Bible to King James'? That's an unfit comparison for so many reasons: it's straight up wrong. His Majesty's translation of the Bible into Amharic? Think about it - from the impact and potential, it is more akin for example to Luther's Bible translation into German, seen? Away from Latin, the language of the bigger heads/Mr. Man at the time, power (and responsibility) to the people - to whom much is given, much is required, and the Word of God is the most powerful existence, the I am that I am. Haile Selassie I set the standard - and He made sure it was even improved upon, years later. The lengths He went to? Made sure ones with an error were BURNED, imagine, Iyah! Also: below the line, look at the NEGATIVE impact and fuckry committed with the King James' version had and has - I find it disrespectful to even mention Haile Selassie I's version with so much positive impact and empowerment of the common man to King James' version which was used to downpress I am a person who has nerded out over the Bible for 27 years now - His Majesty's wisemind when it comes to the Bible? Second to none, JAH know. Takes a reader to know one, and Haile Selassie I? Par excellence! Read it for yourself to find the truth for yourself. Any "Rasta" better have checked out His Majesty's utterances again and again and again with references to the Bible, all over His speeches throughout the years, in His autobiography - it was obviously VERY if not most important to HIM, so anyone who fight it is a straight up fool, a hypocrit just like the Christians dem who say they follow Christ but don't - same song, same ting, hail the King!

@@GreakFreak344 "A bible is a bible" is a tautology. Muslims aren't Bible experts - most Christians aren't, either. It's not about making sense. It's about conveying the message as intended. The Bible in Ethiopia is older than most, Ge'ez is an ancient tradition. Additionally, it contains more books than the Western canon. But hey, because some white dude had a whole bunch of people working on it, that must make it so much better... His Majesty obviously didn't translate it Himself. Troll on.

@@SamsonBenji i am not saying your wrong and hell u know more then me cause i am just 14 trying to know the bible and jesus more as i grow but the people that king james had working on hid versions werent some random people who knew a little bit of the language they were experts the best of the best because in king james time there were many diffrent bibles and some of them were trying to trick and fool people so he got all the many diffewnt versions of the bible and tried to see which is the right one and also i do know that in ethopia ( btw i am eritrean so i do know about the ethopian bible a little bit) that its a christain country and its not from a nothwr coubtry that colonizied it there were Scriptures there to prove it but when wmprore haile sellase was emperor he changed a few of the scriptuers and added more and tricked people into beliving he was like god and messaih
