To be specific, it is not the board members that are hard to hear but people in the audience that walk up to the mic.

Audio is difficult to hear consistently

As an audio engineer, this is not a well-thought out plan being fast-tracked without full public knowledge to the Medina and Shelby residents. Having used various sound pressure equipment tools to protect the ears of patrons listening to my product over many years, I am deeply concerned the residents of Medina and Shelby have no concept of what they are in for if this self-serving endeavor of one farmer who has largely retired from farming to save his 165+ acre farm land from being dissolved has supposedly “recused” himself from as the land owner and Town Supervisor. We all know what happens behind closed doors. When a turbine blade passes the wind tower on a large turbine it generates a low frequency pulse. These pulses are typically below 20 Hz and are called infrasound. Turbine infrasound can be detected inside homes as far away as six miles. I have traveled to Wyoming county multiple times and have taken the time to stop my car at various places where the turbines are located. These massive industrial wind power generators are far from quiet or peaceful to the ear and body. My sound equipment on the other hand can be turned up or down, frequencies can be removed or added as needed or ultimately be shut off at will. Please keep one thing in mind, once these turbines are up and running, you can’t just shut off the sound and effects of them.
