Me and my sons made this trip 2 weeks ago and it was a exciting landing but the drive from the airport to the resort was also a experience that i will never forget! Dominica is a jewel of the Caribbean!

Its bring back my memories back then when i was flew Boeing 737-200. I was flying in my hometown where the runway so close to the main road in that airport area.On that day my family was watching there because it was my first schedule to fly to my own hometown.and my family watching on the road side.in that time,we did static take off.and after i landed in destination i got text from my mom that she told me we make a huge jet blast 😂. Btw its nice video ,love it!

Yes Roseau is scary particularly the old Liat puddle jumpers. It’s a interesting seeing the hulks of planes off the side of the runway when your taxiing .😮

Probably due to the prevailing winds. I don't know if the winds ever change directions there, but an onshore breeze would necessitate an inland approach.

Went to Ross med school in Dominica. It was always a thrill landing on that island. I heard from pilots later on that a lot of red alerts and whistles go off during the landing.
