Yes it is a 30cm ring. Maybe it just looks smaller in the video. The length of the 26 cords is 340cm.

When you go from your 13th cord to your 14th and 15th... suddendly cord 13 disappears in your video. I dont know what to do with cord 13.

The 13th cord goes under the cords 12 an 13. I have just made a short cut in my video and you see the 13th cord as it lays finished und cords number 12 and 13.

Bonjour! Au total, mon ruban a une longueur d'environ 112 cm. Le mieux est de tenir le ruban de temps en temps pendant le nouage. Tu pourras ainsi voir combien de nœuds il te reste à faire avant qu'il n'atteigne la bonne longueur pour toi.

Hi. great video. If I use a larger mirror to 10", how much more rope do I need? How many more strips of cord? Thanks

Thank you very much. You mean if you have a larger metal ring? The mirror must be at least as large, or better still slightly larger than the ring. Depending on the size of your ring, you knot more pieces of yarn until the ring is covered. It is best to knot two pieces of yarn at a time, then another two, until everything is full. I always recommend two pieces of yarn, because you always work with two pieces of yarn for a square knot. I hope my answer will help you. Have a lot of fun with making the macrame mirror!

@@sandiymacrame Thank you for responding. Yes, I meant a larger ring/mirror. For instance, a 10 inch mirror. I just add two rope sections at a time until the ring is full correct? Also, is 4 mm okay to use?

I love this idea! But how can you calculate how much yarn you need? I have much bigger steel stars 🥰

Thank you very much. I also like this star because it's so easy to make. You can calculate it like this: For a 10cm diameter ring you approx need 180cm of the yarn. Depending on the diameter of your star you have to double or triple (and so on) the length of the yarn. I hope this is helpful. Warm regards!
