Isn't the "owner" watching your video progress? So he is seeing the underneath, right?
@MrHevyshevy6 сағат бұрын
I doubt he’s watching. Busy at the country club etc.

I got my first car in Oregon, and it snowed like the dickens that winter. I got my first introduction to driving in snow in the bowling alley parking lot. Nobody to run into, and only one light pole. (It was a small town) I do okay, but I'm getting out of practice since I moved to Tennessee. I'm not grumbling, though. I LIKE not having to drive in the dreaded white stuff. All the best to you both, and thank you for the great content.

Stick with Chevy trucks! Lightweight /rear drive(foriegn car) is a disaster. LOL!

Traction control is useless
@MrHevyshevy6 сағат бұрын
Yep. Sometimes you need tire speed.
@nedflora11546 сағат бұрын
@MrHevyshevy you know how a dump truck does if ya stay in it you can go through that soft spot. But inevitably that one driver stops right in the soft spot. That's what that traction control was doing 😔. I think you already know that just saying it 🤣🤣

First why is there no dipstick on transmision? I suppose you just run it till it smokes. Second, why is there no drain plug? Engineer Bob just gets kick out of us having tranmision fluid run our arms when we pull the pan.
@odahithedubious20 сағат бұрын
It might cost them another 35 cents to put in a drain plug. And probably a dollar to install a dipstick.

RWD Euro-barges are all the same in snow, useless! Guy at the top of my street had one similar a few years back, 2" of snow and all it would do was spin the tires and go round in circles. He managed to park it out of the way eventually, jumped in his FWD Caddy van and was able to get anywhere he cared to go. And yep, it don't matter where you get parts from nowadays, they're all Chinese produced junk, with expensive stickers slapped on.

I guess you should have installed that "All wheel Drive" button.

always turn off traction control. It doesn't help when you're stuck.

Yep... it is just about all Chinese these days... sucks what going to happen with prices with the tariffs going into effect.... going to get to the point that a guy wont be able to afford new parts and still be able to put groceries on the table.

I was just about to say the same thing.... a couple good strips of carpet can work wonders!!!!

It would be better if you could turn the car around and not back out. Much better traction driving straight out instead of trying to back out

What is your opinion on caliper grease being the same as dielectric grease? I've used dielectric grease on polyurethane suspension bushings with no problems and caliper grease on the porcelain part of a park plugs to keep moisture out. No one really gives a clear answer online, so I ask for peoples opinion. Thanks. 👍
