Yeah, that's what it sounds like to metal listeners, too. And it's not "modern metal" that sounds like this, it's specifically Octanecore that sounds like this. What is Octanecore, you ask? The slop that gets played on Octane Radio, i.e. metal's equally bad version of Billboard pop.
