The only way you get an ADRK dog is import directly from Germany and it would probably be pushing 2 years old. An import pup from an import breeder is not an ADRK dog despite having ADRK parents...To understand this you have to dive into the governing and breeding practices of the German's....When an American breeder takes ADRK dogs and slaps them together simply to say the pups have ADRK parents...This does not equal ADRK breeding practices. The American breeder is not governed by the ADRK, the breeding pair was not governed and the American breeder just sold you an American Rottweiler. This is language American imports use to make you believe you are getting something you simply are not! A pup bred and born in America is in fact an American Rottweiler. It is confusing for many, you are not alone, however majority of American's that say they have a German or ADRK dog simply do not, they are either uneducated in the breed or are just fooling themselves.
