That’s what I keep saying!!! When I saw the pictures on IG of Jurin in the wolf outfit i literally said that’s Princess Mononoke!!! MV had to be inspired by Princess Mononoke! 🐺 Even the wolf outfits. There are scenes from the movie incorporated in the MV. Like at 1:19 that happens in the Ghibli film.

Not sure but the figure in the beginning seems like a personification of conspicuous consumption. The arteries coming from viewers feeds him. Seems like they are saying technology is not necessarily good. I agree on the Princess Mononoke homage. Bro, great reaction. The references to “Mononoke Hime” are beautiful. This MV has many references to pop culture. For example: The Matrix with Harvey stopping the bullets. Or the references to MJ: the growl at 0:17 is the same you can hear in the song “The Way You Make Me Feel” at 1:08. Also Maya saying “If I turn WOLF, then it must be a THRILLER” or Jurin saying “MOONWALK on a rooftop like a wolf”. And I think the howl is very similar to MJ singing in “Earth Song” 3:53 and the wind sequence too. Maybe there are more references to pop culture that I couldn't find. This MV is stunning!
