i love sablezards positioning, but i’m also a fan of ancient box too bc i think single prizers r doing well rn if they hit hard enough. charizard is always a super safe pick tho so if u stressing thats a great fall back :)

i was worried about two things: 1- evolving it kinda hurts 2- the energy to attack with it is a lot and this deck has no energy accel also i played a couple warm up rounds with it and felt i really didn’t need the pokemon search bc grotle was usually enough

Also cut the researches for more iono and vigor

Vigor can set up some nice plays to use torterras other attack or Venusaurs attack as well.plus you can use it to charge up an ogerpon you need to get more energy onto for some of the bigger kos maybe cut a grotle and a torterra for more energy since your already running a lot of rods and a lot of copies of the cards that might help

love the idea tbh :) im not a fan of serperior vstar bc it costs too much energy to attack with no acceleration. HOWEVER, the gardenias idea is goated and can fix this problem. just bc careful cutting torterra out bc u only play 3, and while u can recover easy if u prize even 1 it does hurt a lot, so 3 is essential. if u cut research for vigor i would cut 1 rod bc now u won’t be randomly discarding them :)

whatd u play in ur build? i feel like raging bolt would be hard but miraidon shouldn’t be too bad!

Try it with carrier ace, tell me how it works, should speed up things a bit.

@@GinJTCG Played with max belt. I got my win vs Miraidon just bec i had a parfume for pikachuEX resoulute heart ability. The Problem with Miraidon is that they can attack at round 2. and if they beat up your chelast,its going to be a hard game

same here, i don’t think i’ve ever played a big meta deck to irl tourneys. love builds like this one where there’s legit potential in an absolute pile! i gotta look into that cresselia tho idr what it does tbh :)

i honestly love the idea of those in the deck. idrk if one is better than the other bc both r insanely useful is alot of match ups. might be more of a play style/meta call :)

@@GinJTCG totally makes sense especially with lugia sorta leaving the meta, maybe

100% agree, i think that bloodmoon can body alot of the meta while tanking hits, but if lugia makes a return then i think thorns may be the move

@@GinJTCG I think having 2 prize liabilities is pretty bad for a come from behind deck. I think maybe choice belt could be could but i only liked iron thorns because it completely shut lugia down. what matchup does ursaluna help with that rad zard cant already fix?

it’s more of a back up option for when u can’t loop zard perfectly. for example, miraidon can’t one shot with anything but pika. generally, zard is better but often times it’ll get KOd and u might not have night stretcher or rod available, just nest ball. this way ur then able to fall back on the bear and still take OHKOs. same concept against bolt and charizard. hope this helps, if u need a more in depth guide lmk on my discord im happy to help ya with the strategy for it :)
