I know you usually play survival, so I feel a need to let you know that in a normal playthrough like this, especially one where you aren’t using ammo…ammo basically just IS caps. You’re not in Survival, there’s literally no downside to carrying as much ammo as you can find and selling it off to every vendor you interact with. I get dropping the ammo for the weapon you’re using to aim, but every time you mention being out of some material or something else being too expensive, I want to scream “SELL YOUR AMMO!” If you play it right, by which I mean “obsessively miserly”, you can get to a point where you’re leaving every vendor transaction with a net positive in caps by using your ammo as your primary currency instead. Not that all of my Fallout characters eventually become Scrooge McDuck levels of wealthy because it pains me to actually spend my caps…

Finally someone shares my frustrations with Skyrim's terrible UIs. There is literally no reason that dialogs and the system menu shouldn't have keybinds, and even less reason to not underline or otherwise highlight the Y/N hotkey in yes/no prompts. What would've worked well is Microsoft's approach to data-driven hotkeys, where button text can have an ampersand that automatically creates an Alt hotkey combination, like &Exit for Alt+E or Mi&nimize for Alt+N. You can't even argue that "well it's an old game so they didn't know that keyboard navigation is important" because computer mice didn't even exist in very early systems and the subsequent popularization took a while, so UI/UX designers had a lot of time to figure keyboards out, establishing a firm foundation of knowledge. My very first Fallout 4 run, a decade ago. I found a wounding combat shotgun. Words cannot express how OP that weapon was. Every pellet would inflict the wounding effect separately. I did not appreciate it enough and have spent every playthrough since looking for another. I’ve had other OP weaponry, sure. But that one was *chefs kiss*

One of my favourite Skyrim challenges I've ever seen done. The way Skyrim and Pokemon are combined in the video is just beautiful. Would be very interested in seeing you complete the dlcs too with this.

Every 3D single player fault out game has allowed you to carry things in front of your character without actually picking it up. That is how you steal everything sittings around in every vender in every game. Also putting baskets on peoples heads in skyrim.

hey man, really good vid that I'm enjoying a ton and I'll poke around some of the others on the channel to see if you're a keeper, but as a general criticism I think the self cam edited in at random points and places is a bit, excessive? It doesn't really add anything to the video besides a distraction from the video itself whenever you pop in and pulls away from the gameplay and audio with this little 'blip!' Other things you've brought in at other times, especially at the start, would stand out fine on their own, or if you're mentioning something specific (like around the 35:00 mark you were talking about solar powered), bring that up or a description of it instead so it's constructive to the topic. Double down that since your handsome face is already on display in the gameplay footage itself, it almost feels narcissistic? That or having it be for a bit or being a bit more animate yourself when doing it so that it's adding something instead of just being there... but I think the current energy level is already really comfy, for the voice over, and doesn't leave room for being animated, so your little pop ins are just kinda, not helping.

Ya like jazz? Also it is apparently possible to use Intimidation rank 3 to trade with and arm people, but it's finicky. Orange Squeasy has a video about it called "Fallout 4 Intimidation Perk Glitch (No Mods)" that you may find helpful. It's a lot less convenient than you might be hoping for. Not sure if I'm allowed to post links to the video or not.

I don't think your kills were from Nick. I've done a pacifist (of sorts) run up to Kellogg (dismissing companions as we entered into combat). I got stuck at Kellog, but I know that I got through Vault 114 with 0 kills. The possibility of bugs aside, I'm wondering if supermutants count as people and mutant hounds counts as creatures - and blowing up robots and/or inciting them to kill counts as your kills.

LMAO! Just a note - There is a way you can reprogram/hack turrets as long as they are connected to a terminal. There's a Total Hack magazine and Holotage at the Wildwood Cemetery (under the big tree) that can be used for that. I don't know if any kills the turrets make would be added to your kill count through.
