Nice work to keep the song alive, Happy Ron. I know you’re working out tempo. It could also sound cool with a ska/reggae feel to it. Thinking either mid-tempo or even up-tempo like the Mighty Mighty Bosstones would do. Thanks for sharing.

Such a great unique voice, and amazing lyrics. One of favourite artists when I was kid, Oliver’s Army and Watching the Detectives blew me away, even now. So many great playful lyricist’s back then like Ian Dury and BA Robertson.

@@happyron The singalong definitely elevates it from a good song to a great song. It's interesting how a little tweak like that can sublimate a song. But it's also your execution; I love how you don't sing the refrain but let the crowd sing it. And the way you do it is hilarious and almost Chaplinesque. No, actually, you know what?! It's HappyRonesque! On another level, the singalong helps the song transcend the egoic perspective as by singing along the crowd is sticking up for your baby! And by doing so, they're also sticking up for their own babies. Yeah!
