@@kellywendlandt3940 Thank you. As someone who likes DIY microphones. Klaus Heyne is a godlike being, and he points out in great depth that a microphone is not just a tool for recording sound but a tool with emotions. I never understood why the old microphones couldn't be made anymore. When he talked about the output transformer, I thought I suddenly understood. The person who really knows how to make transformers is gone. Thanks again.

Thanks for the insights regarding the Joule, but could you please explain the more details regarding the Functional consultants job roles and responsibilities. Thanks.
@kellywendlandt39407 ай бұрын
Consultants, depending on their field of expertise and how they utilize AI (Microsoft Co-pilot, Joule, etc), can perform various tasks and roles. Here are some potential jobs or tasks consultants can do: Content Generation: Consultants can use AI Joule to draft reports, presentations, and documentation more efficiently. Joule can suggest content based on the consultant's input, helping to streamline the creation process. Data Analysis and Insights: Joule can assist consultants in analyzing data by generating summaries, visualizations, and insights from large datasets. This can be particularly useful in market analysis, financial modeling, or strategic planning. Proposal and Pitch Preparation: Consultants often need to prepare proposals or pitches for clients. Joule can help in drafting initial proposals, creating slides for presentations, and formatting documents to meet professional standards. Research and Information Gathering: Joule can aid consultants in gathering relevant information and conducting research on industry trends, competitors, or best practices. It can retrieve and summarize information from various sources quickly. Workflow Automation: Consultants can automate routine tasks using Joule, such as scheduling meetings, managing emails, or organizing data. This allows consultants to focus more on strategic activities rather than administrative tasks. Client Communication and Collaboration: Joule can assist in drafting emails, responding to inquiries, and collaborating with clients or team members on documents in real-time. It improves communication efficiency and ensures consistency in messaging. Training and Knowledge Sharing: Consultants can leverage Joule to create training materials, develop learning modules, or provide instant answers to common queries from clients or internal teams. Project Management Support: Joule can help consultants manage projects by creating timelines, tracking tasks, and generating status reports based on project data. These tasks highlight how consultants can integrate AI including Joule, into their workflows to enhance productivity, improve accuracy, and deliver higher value to their clients. As AI technologies continue to evolve, the role of tools like Co-pilot in consulting is likely to expand, offering new opportunities for efficiency and innovation in consulting services.

Where can I buy his book on vintage mics ? Not on Amazon
@kellywendlandt39408 ай бұрын
From what I can tell the only available versions currently for sale are in german. Not to say you can't find one if you look hard enough. I just did a quick google search and it looks like the book is hard to come by. If I happen to talk with Klaus I'll ask him if he knows where people can get it and then post it.

Great Interview, thankx ! This is the first time I hear him talking, I know him from reading many microphone related chats. I am lucky to have an original Neumann M249 in my cupboard which I will propably keep until the end. I remember the days when original U47's could be found on ebay every second week in the price range between 3000 and 5000 Euro. I should have take a loan and buy them all, too late now ;-) ....

I am in the same boat @megaSoundscapes! I have a vintage u67 from Klaus but I would really like a u47, M49 et al. Now I would need to sell my house to get those mics! Klaus is a treasure to the music world and I feel very fortunate to talk with him and share it. Thank you for the comment.

Wayne, it's pretty crazy the youtube algorythms have not gotten this to more people. It got 5500 watches on linked-in the first 2 weeks, and that group of people are mostly business-people. I must need to work on my controversial titles or hashtags: ). Something like "Klaus Heyne tells all about Pdiddy parties and how microphones were used." (joking of course).

Dude: This is high value, high energy entertainment brought to you by two older dudes! To prove that point, I don't know what "promoSM" means, but I will ask my 26 and 23 year old children. Thank you for giving it a listen though, and if you have any specific recommendations as how to not make it "promoSM," I welcome considering your feedback. Again, thank you for listening, even if it sucked.

Ya. It was a great amp. The Soldanos are everything a person would want in a 80's style hard rock amp. But I'm old enough now where I mostly play less distorted and I'm not interested in carrying the seperate head and cabinet. I have a 1972 Fender Champ and Marshall JCM 800 50 watt combo that I kept, plus a Kemper. You can't replace that big sound of the head and cabinet, but for my current needs the smaller, lighter setups work fine.
@kellywendlandt39404 жыл бұрын
I've owned the 100w Hot Rod and that is a great sounding distortion channel! But again, unless you have cartage or roadies to help carry your equipment, It's a young man's game. I'm down to a 1972 Fender Champ with pedals and a Kemper. You can't go wrong with the Soldano's though IMO.

@kellywendlandt39404 жыл бұрын
Thanks Dennis for the note. I really like the combo. The Friedman breaks up without crazy high volume (and I have the OX Box too, but don't really need it) and the Soldano has a very thick, heavy rock distortion. The coolest part to me about the combo is it sounds great for blues (in my humble opinion) and clean too. It's really a great rig-but it's a young man's rig, or a rig for someone with help carrying! I have kept it in my living room so that has never been a problem for me: )

Sounds good from this side of KZbin! How do you like that Friedman 412 with a Soldano circuit design??
