Hiii! So if you wondering how to tell if turkey tail is false or not I’ve got you :) So the biggest tale tail is if the bottom have gills, turkey tail has spores of the bottom. And if you find a “turkey tail” and the bottom has spores, but it also has dark brown rings or light. On the bottom then that is a coppy cat! Correct me if I’m wrong:D

One of the weird things about candy caps is that their aroma intensifies over time. I collected some a few weeks ago and when I dried them, their aroma was very mild, but now if I open up the container they're in, it fills up the whole room. This is because the scent compound in the mushroom hydrolyzes over time into a more powerful one. I've heard that it's best to dry them without heat at all for intensity of flavor but I haven't actually tried and compared it heated drying.

I think it is great that you are being open about some of the mistakes that you made. It takes a lot to be honest with yourself sometimes but I think that is the best way to improve. @@lostwatersflyfishing thank you! You’re probably right about the stronger bow too. This is only a 25lb bow I got for small game, so I don’t think that poundage is enough using blunts like a 40+ pound bow might be. Trying broadheads now, just need to make an accurate shot.
