As a huge U2 fan since the early 80's, I think they peaked in the 90's for a combination of two reasons. 1) They were looking for a mix of new musical colours by experimenting with unknown territory like never before. And when that worked it was outstanding, fresh and daring. 2) Bono's lyrics found their way around the music, not the other way around. It started with progressive soundscapes evolving into songs with lyrics that suited the overall mood and feel of the sound. I hope they find the courage to do this once again for their next big titanium dance rock album. It's allways better to have 5 million people go nuts then to have 50 million people kinda think your okay. In short.. Do they want to feel REALLY loved by millions or somewhat liked by billions.

Saw Bad performed live early on in "TUF" tour at Apollo Stadium, Adelaide on the Oz leg of the tour. Wow - were they amazing & the atmosphere was simply electric. It was the night U2 famously played "Gloria" in-full twice.

This is one of my all time favorite song from U2. God I miss going to concerts. I had so much fun when I was younger. Theresnotbing that fills my heart more than music! Thanks for all the fabulous years.

1:57 - 2:02 he was nervous about being able to hit that note. You can see where he made the distinct effort to slow down and get his breathing right. The irony is that getting nervous about it is so counterproductive. Which is why he only did it one time and then didn’t do it again.
