Idiots keep buying $1000 plus bare bows, I think PSE just released a $2000 bow, and the market will never go down. You learn how to actually use a bow, and a $200-$400 bow is all you need for hunting. Most hunting shots are within 40yds and most of those under 25yds. Archery has become a rich/dumb man's game and left us average/poors behind. Who in their right mind spends $1500-$2000 on a bare bow that in two to three years will be found used for under $500? It happens all the time. One year later= half price, two years= a third the price, three years= garage sale cheap bow.

@TheRealFault Hey it’s Daniel here! My advice to both of y’all is just to take a breath before that back swing. That helps calm the nerves. I found that I only try to kill the ball when I’m stressed and rushed. That breath prior to swinging releases that pressure for me and allows me to make good contact with the ball.
@Kadn_gaming

If you really want to step up your shot process, MFJJ might not be the right coach for you. Don't get me wrong, he's a great guy with a lot of knowledge about bows and technical stuff, but he's not the best shooter out there. I'd suggest George Ryals when it comes to finding your shot process. He has a lot of insight from coaching multiple tournament winners and describes actions needed to get consistent a lot different than most of the archery youtubers out there and that helped me a lot in tightening up my groups and getting my shots right on longer ranges.
@SoFloAdventures
@SoFloAdventures 25 күн бұрын
I love George Ryals and Chris Bee as I have said so many times and learn so much from them, but in terms of true technical form I prefer MFJJ, his insight on how the body works when and while it shoots is superb yes his groups aren't amazing but his knowledge is.

The problem with a 300$ bow is it has no tuning options.. They are simply trash. Thats the truth... Now don't get me wrong.. for a kid or a beginner youth sure. Not everyone is rich. When you shoot a decent bow, its a completely different experience. 100%
@SoFloAdventures
@SoFloAdventures Ай бұрын
I wouldnt say trash they are so really good budget bows, being rich has nothing to do with what you shoot, Like me im no where near wealthy but through hard work I get to shoot a nice setup. For some people tunability isnt everything also you can tune budget bows. Ive done timing, paper tunes, and i have even shimmed the cams. But yes budget bows are more geared twoard beginners who are on the edge about dropping a few thousand on the sports.

got a $500 bear legend xr, put a qad ultra rest, hha one pin sight, 12” redline stabalizer, shoot 5mm fmj arrows and I can shoot the same groups at 60 yards as my buddy with a $2400 hoyt alpha x setup. you don’t need these flag ship bows to shoot well. I’ve shot 3 bucks with it so far and dropped every one in there tracks
@seanbagby449
@seanbagby449 Ай бұрын
if you search long enough you can find high quality bows for good price, in my opinion the bear legend xr is a high quality bow at a budget price point. Has hybrid cams and lots of tune ability. shoots very well comparing it to the flag ship bows which I have shot many of the hoyt and Matthew’s flag ship bows. cannot justify me spending $800 more for a bare bow

Shooting the hinge looks better already 👍 I have both the Thumb Button and Hinge 2.0 from Ultraview. With the Hinge I feel extremely confident and consistent. The Button has a different point of impact for me and I can’t seem to fix it. Quick tip for less wear on your arrows. Spray some dots on your target with paint and shoot a different one each time. That way you don’t destroy your nice arrows with good shooting.
@SoFloAdventures

Use a sling. You might think that grabbing the bow like that after the shot has no effect, however it will torque the bow and affect your shot
@SoFloAdventures
@SoFloAdventures Ай бұрын
I have used a sling however I shoot mostly to hunt and hunting with a sling is not practical to me, Although it could add torque "catching" my bow me and some people from Black Hills Archery studied my shot and in 40 shots only 7 were affected by me grabbing the bow in which I called that I had done it. Shooting a 70lb bow at 27in draw spits my arrow out before I can react, hence the new rest. Thanks so much for the advice though and if i see some groups widening I will be back with a you were right.

The lavalier microphone is a nice upgrade for your sound. Should have taken that one to the shooting session as well. The integrated rests are not really worth it all things considered. I have the MX2 on my Mathews Lift and it’s a little easier to tune because of the micro clicks. But once you set it, you not gonna touch it anyway. Maybe a little more, if you shoot broadheads, but I don’t have any experience in that.
