Good old days, in that time this was a prestige now everything is about the money and profit. So sad...

Back in the day pilots would fly with the door to their cockpit was open. People could peak in and take pictures just fine. The good old days. Life is changing :(

60's, 70's and 80's were the days... I wish I was born in 1955 !!! But no... I'm born in 86, end of the golden era, couldn't really enjoy it and now we live in a fucked up world were everything is fucking restricted...

I wonder if any airplane u see in this video is still flying for cargo or anything else or if they are all scrapped.
@AngelofDeath7987 жыл бұрын
Boffis123 all of the Concordes were grounded after the horrible crash in Paris in 2001.
@boffis1237 жыл бұрын
Dominik Henseler They did return after the crash but retired in 2003. I talked about all the planes you see in this video, all the 747-100/200s, L1011s and Dc-10s, if any of those planes in the video happen to still fly today or if they all are scrapped.

Okay…… STRANGE…Ready for this? To the people on that plane, the idea of taking high-quality video with a thin piece of metal and glass - thinner than a pack of cigarettes (That you could also call folks on, read mail and "surf" something called "The Internet")- would to them have been considered "science fiction." Now on the brink of 2015 (!) the idea of being able to book civilian passenger transport on a freaking SUPERSONIC airplane, to us now would (Unfortunately) for all intents and purposes be considered "science fiction!"
@TheRealBegion10 жыл бұрын
That is, indeed, strange. However, fuel crisis killed this aircraft. Maybe with another mean of propulsion and/or a big leap in propulsion systems, we would be able to fly again at such speeds. Search for "Supercruise" ;)
@macieksoft7 жыл бұрын
Léo VanWillem Concorde was supercruise. Concorde was able to fly mach 2 without reheats. And there are no alternatives for jet fuels ATM.

They should at least restore 1 to flying condition for air shows and limited flights for fans... like they did to the Lockheed Super Constellation. This plane is a piece of history.

Only in concorde ( as a passenger) could you have breakfast in new york, lunch in england, and be back in new york for dinner, all in the space of a transcontinental flight in either a boeing or airbus aircraft ( space = flight duration)
