On the website for the down version, there are two different weight specifications: (for size L), 560 g is written at the top, but in one of the pictures, the weight is set as 530 g. Could you tell me please, which one is the right information?

Thanks for noticing and sorry for this inconvenience. Yes, there is a mistake. Correct weight is 600g for an L size

Hopefully this was just a photo op and not a real campsite. Any kind of rain upstream and you could end up in serious trouble with a pitch like this. Not to be emulated, folks!

Well, that’s not our experience, thanks for noticing 😎

@@liteway As an up and coming outdoor brand, I hope you'll rethink this and encourage safe, courteous and green camping practices. Otherwise you'll lose the respect of any customer who values countryside conservation. Government, environmental and park authorities in every major country encourage, or even require, campers to keep at least 50 meters from water sources. There are many reasons: 1) Safety - as I have said, upstream rain can often lead to flash floods. This can lead to harrowing and even dangerous situations. 2) Camping near to water can lead to contamination from washing, cooking and human waste. 3) Camping near to water can damage river banks and lake shores, which are often fragile ecosystems. 4) Camping near to water can prevent animals and people from accessing drinking sources and fords. You may say, but it's only one tent. But as the outdoor industry develops in Ukraine, you'll begin to understand the cumulative damage this will cause. I'd encourage you to get up to speed on the countryside codes in countries like the US, Canada, UK, Scandinavia, Australia and NZ. As I say, they ALL require campers to stay around 50 meters or more from water sources. This isn't based on some killjoy woke agenda - it's developed from practical experience of the damage that thoughtless camping can cause to fragile ecosystems... Brands like Patagonia have flourished by aligning themselves with green and conservation values. Any brand that is seen as irresponsible towards the environment is committing PR suicide.

Nice clean design. Very impressed by the thought that has gone into the vents - the best solution I've seen. Will be stealing that for my own MYOG projects! But I do think it would be improved by more pegging points around the bottom seam - those are big panels to be unsupported in a serious storm. A request - in future videos please show how an average sized guy with a warm inflatable pad and bag will fit into the nest. With small lightweight shelters, it's helpful if customers can get a sense of how they would fit into the space. This especially applies to mids and tipis with sloping walls. Surprising how so few vendors offer this.

Sounds reasonable, definitely will be included in future videos, thanks for such idea 🤝

I've been looking for a good APEX ultralight quiltmaker in the EU for a while now -- Enlightened Equipment seems to be the standard, but getting their gear shipped here is difficult -- so this is a very welcome addition to the market. Excellent work, friends, all your gear looks really solid.

I’ve been searching for a 1p pyramid style, 1 trekking pole, single wall silpoly, ultralight pyramid style tent with a relatively small footprint for some time now. I knew this was a lot of boxes to check off and thought one did not exist for several weeks of searching until I came across LiteWay!!! I have not purchased this tent yet, but will be next year and am so excited that I found this brand… THE PERFECT TENT DOES EXIST🫶 greeting from USA

You don't show what a tent like this is really about. I have a poor man's hex-tent 165 high. ( Aricxi). I can sit under the huge on a camping chair. I think that is what people want to see. Especially when you get older sitting on the ground isn't comfortable. All tent brands focus on hiking. But there are many cyclist who would consider buying your products if you advertised the tent as such. In fact the tent would be even better if it was standing height 175-190 cm. To put your clothes on for example. As long it is under 2 kilo it is still light.
@liteway7 ай бұрын
Pretty valuable comment, thanks for your attention to this video. We’ll pay more attention to such details which you’ve mentioned. But 2 kilos that’s too much I guess )
@driewiel7 ай бұрын
@@liteway People ride around with 120 kilo bicycle campers! E-assist makes that possible. And e-bikes are expensive. So wouldn't it be great if you could park them safely in your tent? I have seen couples carrying much much heavier tents to have space, plus a tarp for their bikes. And they all carry chairs! All I'm saying is that you make light tents for hikers. Maybe a model for cyclists would be very interesting? Already a 1.65 cm high teepee is big enough if you take the front wheel off. Of course you don't want it to rip the tent fabric. You need a second pole to be sure it won't fall over. Or you lay it flat on the ground. So hop on a bike yourself and imagine what a true tent for cyclists could look like if it were 2 kilo for the solo, and 3 kilo for the duo version. And then we call it the Liteway Bikeway 'a Textile Palace for Cyclists'.
