Thanks to your video, I'm well on my way to cleaning and converting SIX A4 drums! The legal size is a *little different* (mostly that the ink tube housing is cast with the rest of the body, and the screen attachment springs), but everything else is pretty much identical. Really can't thank you enough!

can you turn a physical artwork into a riso print? was just wondering if you would scan that in, if the programme can separate the colours into different layers. or does this only work with a digitally created artwork?

Hola . buenos tus vídeos. Tengo una risograph gr3770. Empezó a fallar.cuando le digo hacer un máster, hace todo la función pero la papel del máster no lo entinta y queda colocado pero sin tinta.y cuando mandas hacer una impresión de prueba la hoja de queda adentro y no termina de salir .

great video! we're having a bit of trouble with our RISO SF5330 at work - the drum is not working and it's displaying error code P-04513. would you happen to know how to clean a SF drum? and if it is similar to the GR drum in this video? thanks in advance!

I think most people only have adobe acrobat not the pro version so this video is not entirely helpful.

I have trouble understanding the seperation of color. I got this line art illustrated in ps. I than filled different areas of the illustration with black and lowered the opacity for different values. Each on a different layer. So basically all grayscale. So do I know have to create new spot cooler channels and paste the grayscale areas into it ? I am confused

Is the layermode set to multiply or something? Or why is the preview already showing how the colors will interact?

Yes. You can also work with the spot channels directly and Photoshop will simulate the spot color blending that way

@@TheDudeway it’s like an application, which can turn every image you put in In the different grayscale files you need for later 🙈 I think it can do more but I only know about that part hehe

It’s my understanding that drums are meant to be monogamous because changing one takes hours. (Risolve Studio posted a video of that cleaning process) but sure you can do it. Each drum apparently costs a thousand dollars new and it appears Risolve appears to have made an economical business of getting used drums, repairing and cleaning them, and filling them with whatever color they need to meet demand. Smart but a lot of work!

I noticed Sebastian was printing from a PC so I’m assuming this particular print used the screen-covered setting (???). What design variables determine whether you go with screen-covered (PC) or grain-touch (Mac) and photo vs. line? Thanks again!

And I've been having the same inking problem with the ricoh Duplicator and the drum is not inking and also the drum is making several rotating cycles after those cycles the machine is asking to replace the ink cartridge and is there any other way to get any other tips and solution thank you
