I'll fully admit that I especially like Caitlin because she is not an L word. Sure, I'm 30 years older than she is and a foot shorter. She would never want me. But I simply can't support a woman who hates men because we are men. So, 1st she is an awesome player, and caught my attention. When I learned she's not an L word, I got interested and have been watching. So, I respect all of them, L word or not, but she has my support because she's awesome and an actual real woman.

Although I think Clarke is getting it crazy, but I think you need to look at Jordan's early years, Detroit! Boston! I think people in the media sparked the hate stoking racist animosity. Stephen A. is wrong. If there is no color lines in sports, being black has 0 to with women "building" the league. Clarke is the highest scorer in the history of NCAA basketball PERIOD. She's not the highest scorer in "women's" NCAA Basketball, highest scorer in NCAA Basketball history. Did her being white have anything to do with that stat? Does that make her the best WNBA player? No. Does that make her the best NCAA player? No. Dawn Staley is the best women's basketball player in the history of women's basketball. (Idc what anyone else says. Staley is from Philadelphia. To me that makes her the best.) Clarke would've had the target on her REGARDLESS. It's worse now because talking heads out it in other players minds that white/pretty "privilege? Really? Lebron James had endorsements before he dribbled a ball in the NBA. Kobe had endorsements in line before he showed he was going to be a legend. Every rookie that had a good chance of being a "special " player out of college had endorsements. When a player can put asses in the seats, they invest in that player.
