@dorelbilauca9991 Good observation! So the first brand was " insane diesel" cap , and it was NOT strong enough ( aluminum was too thin by the locking tabs, and they almost broke off and went inside of my engine ! So, I purchased different style cap brand, " AGA tools" , part # AGA-6061 -TC. But if you buy that one, make sure you remove the bottom aluminum part of the cap. Otherwise, it WILL touch top of your camshaft slope and destroy your engine!!!

Very informative video Thank you very much I have an electric atv that when i switch my ignition is turning on for 1 second and than turns off.. i have tried all what you said in the video and still not working... Can it be a faulty controller? Or maybe the ignition wires is shorting the electric
@You-can-fix-it14 күн бұрын
@omerdavidman817 You must check what is the Voltage numbers coming out from a battery pack connector plug first
@omerdavidman81714 күн бұрын
@You-can-fix-it it is a 48 volt atv, so the reading i get is 48.8 . And from each battery i get 12.5.
@You-can-fix-it14 күн бұрын
@omerdavidman817 Did you see that total Voltage at the connection plug ? If yes, then it confirms that there is no power interrupted between battery pack and atv, so the controller might be faulty . Even that 48v controllers are pretty bulletproof and it is very slim chance that it can fail, but still possible.
@omerdavidman81714 күн бұрын
Yes i checked also the voltage from the connection plug and it reads 48.8 When i follow the 2 wires of the ignition switch i locate that the red goes to the charging port and then to the controller. The black wire goes to a small dc converter

wow the internet is completely bereft of demonstrations of how to wire the dual battery boxes for 36, 48, or 60 volts. It's really hard to conceptualize of how the dual battery packs connect... This is the only video I can find that shows a top view of open cases, but still I'm confused because I'm 48v and I can't seem to figure out how they series when meant to be connected with the dual packs with two batteries in each. What a mind boggler! Looks like you have cut access holes in the cases? Brilliant. Dude. You're the man. maybe in another ten hours I will figure this out. Obviously I am not an electrical engineer. I understand series. but with them split into two packs it seems designed to dazzle. I mean, what is it a trade secret? the wiring schematics from GIO are ridiculous. I have an italia MK and someone took the batteries out. And obviously, they never figured it out. I might go mad trying. UPDATE: As I stated, my son ordered the wrong amp batteries, he ordered 12v 12Ah 250 watt batteries that I believe push 20volts. I finally figured out how to wire the two old batteries and the two new batteries in series. SUCCESS! This means the voltage is now up to 60Volts. The charger is handling it. Amazing. This means what? Possibly the chargers can handle 36v, 48v. and 60v systems, I assume. I may be wrong, but it appears to be working. So my thoughts are, that firstly, I will bench test the system with 48volts, by removing one of the 12Ah batteries. Should work but have less run time?? I think so. Then, the question will be: Will the GIO MK Italia ECU be able to handle 60v? or will it fry. Is it worth risking? I don't know... Thank you You can fix it, your videos are informative, you are responsive and kind and offer advice for no fee. I owe you, my brother. You educated me. Bless you!
@You-can-fix-itАй бұрын
@hehunches Hi, sorry for late reply, I was away. Unfortunately Italia MK will not be able to handle 60V for long time , after some hours of use, controller will overheat and get burned , so maximum is 55V if i don't mistake, but if you look at your controller label, you should be able to see what maximum Voltage acceptable

So far, he ordered the wrong batteries, and installed an incompatible throttle. I'm attempting to help him undo his mistakes, and see if we can put this thing back together! Father - son project! It is all depends on how powerful is that solar panel. For the size of the cargo box, it will help you to gain back power up to 25% in 3-5 hours. But to charge completely discharged batteries , it might take up top 3-4 days under the direct sun
