Probably not, but maybe in the future. It seems, that Valve has plans to have ARM64 support for Steam on Linux.

I restarted my user session each time to see the change. Folks can probably just restart their X session. Eitherway, I noticed these font changes don't take immediate affect. Try turning on full hinting and RGBA anti-aliasing, then new session; and turn everything off, then new session. I noticed a huge difference -- but ONLY after restarting my sessions.
