They do actually, because they buy REAL watches, and then put the serial number from that watch, on 100 copies.

I have put the code behind the clasp and it gives me another aquarcer model. Could be a counterfeit or maybe the seller don’t registered the watch correctly?

Just lately ive seen more tag Heuer watches on peoples wrists in my local,so theres definitely more love for tag than there used to be ,me personally i absolutely love tag Heuer. Cheers for this sound review.

Black has more wrist presence. I've tried them all and bought the black version on rubber deployment. Sub killer in my view especially the movement and you can walk in AD purchase one. It's between the seaweed and the black. 😊

This really does put the BREITLING superocean and superocean heritage line to shame. They still use modified eta2824’s in those watches and for about £1000 less tag Heuer is bringing its own proprietary Sellita movement….

I have two 3-5 year old Aquaracers. On the old warranty check page came the warranty data and the model data. Here on the new page the serial number and warranty code match, but there is no warranty start and expiry date? Why is that?

We are not sure. We experience the same issue in the video too. I think it’s just a database issue on Tags behalf.

I hate that they removed the authenticity check online. I used it a few months ago and my watch was authentic. Now, creating an account and trying to add the watch it doesn’t find it.

In my case, the serial number matches the warranty code. No error message appears. Can also register the watches. However, there are no further dates for the start and end of the warranty period.

Same. I can add the watch to tag site. But when checking the details like warranty and stuff i have to check it using th was. When i enter the log in details from tag site to th was it does not recognise unfortunately there is no registed button on th was. Anyone can help me? Thanks

checking your serial number on that page, in NO way shows that your watch is authentic. If anything, they removed that feature, because the only thing it would prove, is that someone, at some point, bought A watch, with that serial number. And then registered THAT watch. But it wouldn't show you, if 1000 other watches, used that exact same serial number.

It is lovely. The strap is a hybrid rubber/leather. So the base is rubber with a layer of leather on the top portion. It should hold up pretty well, but the leather portion would still wear over time.

Thanks for the video. Something remains unclear to me: do the authenticators open the case to see if the internal mechanisms are authentic? And what specifically do they check? It is weirdly hard to determine this information. It's kind of a red flag for me. My fear is that the authentication process is (or functions as) a cover for people trying to pass off franken-watches. When I ask online dealers if their watches have been authenticated they quickly respond, "ebay does that," but then it is hard to figure out what ebay (or Stoll & co) actually checks.

Sweet, I have been looking mostly at Sub and Seamaster, but I would say, these two can do the same trick very nicely. Black Bay is a great watch too, but somehow it does not speak to me. Cyclope is great on Tag, much better than on Subs. But I would still take the no date Sub if they had them in store :-)
