Awesome video. Some of those look similar to Ralph Bakshi style. Visually striking and interesting none the less.

I have the book by Lyonel Feininger, and I love his stuff, his characters are unique his imagination is wild and he’s a great Abstractionist Cubist.

Great collection/video you have some treasures there, few I haven’t got over my decades of collecting. I’m lucky enough to class Mark as a friend and have had a joint show with him in London 2013… my jewel in the crown is an original Vaughn sketch I stare at it daily. Cheers 🍻

I regret that I never had the opportunity to meet the late Vaughn. However, I have had several opportunities to meet & speak with Mark at several conventions over the years. (First time I met Mark was an uncanny experience: He resembled his late father so closely, it was downright spooky!)

i never made the link to Walt Kelly and disney haha. but once you said it, it clicked. i scored a junk waffel issue number 1 and 2 first print at an estate sale a couple years ago. really really happy about that. Bode's cobalt 60 was my first non mainstream comic when i was a kid. i love his style and definitely created a love of graffiti art in my brain. i also feel like Akira Toriyama was really influenced by Bode. just look at Toriyama's vehicle design.

When I heard "Moorcock's multiverse explained in 7 minutes or less," I thought there was no way. But you did a commendable job making it fit, and it still makes sense! Well, as sensical as Moorcock's multiverse gets on a good day, at any rate. 👍
