Absolutely love and respect the amazing singer songwriter and musician, that is Rick Davies.

100% goosebumps - deep at every level to hear this song played by its writer. Takes me back to 1977 and that’s a long time ago now…

The entire Even in the Quietest Moment album was just fantastic. Give a Little Bit was pop rock precursor to Breakfast in America album. Babaji and From Now On had Supertramp venturing into jazzy music. Even in the Quietest Moment was Led Zepplin like but completely original, and the more you listen to it, the more you realize how good it is. The of course there is the iconic Fool's Overture.

Downstream is one of the most beautiful song of all time ( plus Loverboy is also great) We should give correct credits for Rick , at least under his video.

I had the privilege of watching SUPERTRAMP live in December 1979, here in Portugal (Cascais). Still one of the best concerts I ever attended (and there were many, a lot of them abroad). I'm surprised that Rick Davies is still around, but he's still in good shape, God bless him and his band.

wow, thanks for sharing. That "Monday..." gave me some goosebombs. Supertramp was my first music love, age 10 or 12 or so and was pretty influencial in me wanting to become a musician, too. If any, than Rick was my favorite. Still remember, the only time I saw them live, must have been in the late 90ies how I was blown away, e.g. be the precision of drums and bass (Bob and Dougie) Funny, annecdotal story: I learned about Supertramp by the older brother of a friend. I earned my first money with performing music when he said: if you can play me that School piano solo on your piano I will give you x, I do not remember. (just imagine he had said: "play me the bloody well right intro :-) That one took me way longer many years later..... I might have stoped frustratedly ) Luckily I really learned the part and really got some bucks for that (as said as a 10 or 12 yr old ;-) ). A start of quite some journey ;-) Also Supertramp is related to a rather "sad" story: after that School experience and really loving the sound, e.g. Bloody Well Right etc. I wanted to get that record as a gift for Christmas. Big "disappointment" when I opened the parcel and got... Breakfast in America :-) My poor parents had been a little overwhelmed not to be able to buy normal toys or lego or so but a pop/rock record in our little home town ;-) I do not have turntables anymore but I think I still owe both records somewhere.
