I just realized this song has the same instrumental style as "frc" from "A Silent Voice". And that's how i learned they are by the same composer

Humphrey I keep getting a prank call, some geezer keeps asking me what colour knickers I'm wearing... Give me that phone, hey mate why do you want to know what colour knickers my bird is wearing... Geezer:- "It's called dirty phone calls" Humphrey:- "My bird is wearing clean knickers, I'm wearing her dirty knickers" Geezer:- "You kinky bogey"

The character designs change a lot throughout the series. I notice tsukimoto at the beginning has rounder features and almost no musculature, whereas by episode 10 he's more muscular and angular

I love Joe’s character. The fact that he chose to lose, rather than attack his friend’s injury to win, says so much about his sense of honour and loyalty.

I've watched several animes, from One Piece to Vinland Saga, but Ping Pong is the only anime that made me cry, hence why, Ping Pong is the only 10/10 anime for me

The days when you could actually hear and understand what the actors were saying, whereas now they mumble, jabber, and mutter. I don’t know if it’s because they don’t know how to project their voice, it’s some ridiculous acting fad or poor sound work. Likewise I’m tired of cameras being so far in people’s faces you can actually see their pores! I watched an old 40s black ‘n’ white not so long ago; the protagonist walks into a room, there’s a long shot of him and the full room so the audience gets a sense of place and atmosphere. As he walks around the room the camera follows him from a distance. You feel like you’re in the room with him. It was one, long, beautiful continuous shot. These days the camera flits around like a flea with Saint Vitus Dance. All the modern so-called film makers should be made to watch these masterful old films so they can learn how to star, direct and produce quality movies like this masterpiece.

They way Peco says “he’s good” is incredible voice acting smh. It’s like Peco is admitting someone is actually talented off of one swing but also doesn’t want to admit but is respectful at the same time. Simply amazing

Not enough people talk about the story from his perspective more so the younger people. Koizumi is more human than everyone , he was the guy who had too much heart to crush his opponent and held himself back and clearly had so much regret over it but was willing to give everything to Smile. He was the underrated character in this here show!

Underrated anime Visually appealing and storytelling, character development is a top-notch When you watch this anime you'll learn a lot of things about success, competition, talent, passion and sport of professional career And the mental, emotional, and psychological games between players through tournaments and matches What is it to be a coach? Who is the player that deserves to represent his country and who is the player who plays for the love of the game... 10/10 I find the anime drawing weird the first time, but then that was on the list of the things I liked more about this anime I watched similar works and I admired (tatami galaxy, the black & white brothers movie...) I would watch any work that is produced by this mangaka, studio and even voice actors The music, ost, opening and endings something extraordinary too That goes perfectly with the anime, emotions and events I Highly recommend it for athletes, coaches, mentors, friends, someone who appreciate story telling and art
