Black Manta needs to return to the DC Universe. Yahya brings a passion and depth to the role that evokes genuine emotion, allowing the audience to feel and experience his plight. He brings a compelling logic to Black Manta's quest for vengeance. Personally, I think it was a huge mistake not to give Black Manta his own spin-off. The one-shot comic is absolutely masterful. When you say ¨this guy Robert Egger knows the principles of cinema so well¨ as if Coralie Fargeat didn´t, to me the implication seems unjustified. You might like one movie over another because one doesn´t suit your view of how movies are made or how you enjoy them better, but to fall back on technical skill or knowledge of cinema is unwaratened.
