It's underrated how Shayne can get people to laugh with little to no words. The Bystander got two people two laugh without a single spoken word before he even had a name. Reminiscent of when Shayne riff'd off Ify's "Blayne" bit and returned volley by making him break with 4 words.

@@lispyskeletor9122 she didn't dislike the original bit, in fact she quite enjoyed it. She was definitely playing it up for the drama but I think the original awkward giggle and asking him what he was doing was very real. Someone standing around but talking could put anyone on edge but also in the same way Shayne kept doing it for the laughs, Angela keeps reacting for the laughs.

Pretty sure she was just acting out because Shayne was hovering and just was teasing him about standing there. Had nothing to do with the character or her being petty (which she 100% does, but the stans don't want to acknowledge). When he hovered again she was annoyed again, but played it up for laughs.

Shayne needs to secretly ask Angela's mom if he could get a copy of a family photo that's hung on a wall or stood on a desk, get it to one of the editors, photoshop himself into it, then give it back to the mom, and just put it on the original portrait. And *_NEVER_* mention it to anyone. So that if Angela ever visits her childhood home, she'd have the chance of casually reminiscing over the photos, and just find The Bystander in one of them. Doesn't matter if it takes days, weeks, months, or years, she would freak the fuck out.

@@Figs3 he and a couple other people brought it back a few times but yeah, it's been awhile hasn't it? I wish I had more time for compilations because there's so many I want to do and Smosh pumps out content so fast that I just keep ending up with more ideas for compilations then I have time... And then I have ADHD so me focusing on one thing instead of a dozen, also a challenge lol.

@@jaesjmes5498 omg right? A Detective Wheresmycoffee plushie would be amazing. And a Bystander?... Shayne would probably use to torture Angela by putting it in random places... But you could sell it without having to even try. I really want to be on their marketing team because I would be designing merch non-stop. Obviously I don't know anything about the behind the scenes, and I hate saying anything negative about any crew but from the perspective of a potential customer and someone with a bachelor in marketing they reallllly seem to miss the mark on that end of things. They are constantly out of stock on everything (which, granted, does mean people are buying, but also means that they don't have very good inventory management and they've probably missed out on thousands of dollars) and the options are pretty stale. Like there's probably at least a dozen Angela, Chanse, or Damien quotes that could be put on mugs or t-shirts. Their editing team is brilliant and they obviously have talent for graphic design, look at the logo they put out for Catfish Cabin. I bet you could throw that on a mug with the quote "Common' Down to the Catfish Cabin" on it and people would buy it. Or a silhouette of Detective Wheresmycoffee leaning back with a cup of coffee and "don't mind if I string my cheese?"... Sorry, I gotta stop. I'm pretty sure I could pitch merch ideas all day. Point is, they could make so much more money if they stopped treating Shayne as the only person who says anything funny or has any funny characters. Oh, one more, they could do a entire collection of "Friendship Always Wins" Merch.
