These (the 900 series) are the original 1923 cars. RTA New Orleans has rebuilt them over and over again. The red ones (2000 series) are home built replicas of these.

@@BrooklynJimmie Yes. There are the original 900 series cars. The 400 series are rehabilitated 900 series with ADA lifts. And then the 2000 series which are home built replicas of the 900's also with ADA lifts and air conditioning. For that RTA purchased the trucks (wheelsets) from Brookville and then built the rest of the cars right there in New Orleans

Saturday was the special excursion train to Bay Head. They actually had a lot of equipment in the Hoboken terminal on Sunday. Unfortunately, I was unable to cover that event.

No. Years ago these trips would include photo stops and video run-bys. These days not so much. So for what I want to present, I'm better off "chasing" the trip, which is to say figuring out where and when the train will be and getting into position before hand

Yes. There is usually a published schedule for them. And yes, that entire video was with the Hero 11B. I wanted to check out the 10 bit color and the "improved" low lighting. I think it did the Chicago train and bus justice.
