Definitely get to Duden Park, on the Tribune Est. I had a year as a season ticket holder before leaving Belgium and there's nothing quite like it for atmosphere - positive and relentless from pre-match to post-match (don't leave on the final whistle!). And get beers in batches!

Excellent podcast from both, pointing the finger in the direction of real football, rather than in the stars sort of culture. PSG and Champions league are strangers at the moment, but nobody knows what might happen at the end of the season...

their reaction was pathetic ? Vini playing the race card is frankly embarrassing. he's losing more and more respect from the public day by day.

Stuttgart outplayed and tactically outclassed Juve. Stuttgart made Juve play poor. They made it hard for Juve with their clever pressing and their ability to manipulate Juve's pressing. Stuttgart are ahead of Juve in their development with their coach. Juve are still raw project. So tough game was expected. And lets not just look at name of the clubs. Beyond being well coached Stuttgart have 5 german national players while Juve have many unknown young players. Juve are big in name but havent been big team in the last 3-4 years.

Bad stadium, good video. Thanks Top Brass!
@Andres-db4jm26 күн бұрын
The stadium itself is not bad. It's just not up to modern standards by any means, the stadium's stands are not up close to the pitch, so the view is not the greatest. Another thing, it's troublesome to get there, because the stadium is located in the outskirts of Barcelona on the mountain of Montjuic. Yeah, not the greatest stadium in the world, but when you have no other options, it's kind of pathetic to cry about how awful this stadium is. Rather have something than nothing, right? The people who moan about Montjuic is not the real fans, because the stadium does its job anyway. I thinks it's better have games in Monjuic rather than not have games in Barcelona at all. What other options we had really? It's not like Espanol fans would welcome us in their stadium, right?

12:15 Di Canio is right, there is no substantial difference. The only difference is style, however style has no effect on the level of the team, so the results are the same, if not slightly worse.

I said it here in one of these videos as well that this Motta Juventus is not as exciting or entertaining or even as good as people were making it out to be, but most didn't believe it. This club replaced an experienced manager with one with little experience, having high expectations for this season will only lead to disappointment; in fact the most likely outcome is that we will do worse than last season by the end, due to the level of the team being the same but guided by a less experienced manager. Although the team has changed some, there is still a lot to be done to actually increase its level; something which Giuntoli needs to do well in the coming years, because he will only have 3 years left on his contract, and I don't see the club renewing him if the level remains in status quo.
@nikgarus370927 күн бұрын
@@markg2307 Sure, we'll see. You can mark this and at the end of the season after you see what we've achieved, I'd be interested to hear if you'll still think that I'm devoid of football knowledge, or that I was actually right all along. The same way that I was right about this Motta team not being as good, interesting, entertaining, or exciting as the majority of the fans (which I presume you are part of) thought it was.

There are way higher standards at Bayern. England at club level would be sth like Bergamo or Hoffenheim
@seabassmcgee3367Ай бұрын
Bayern was a game every week sometimes two so the window for all these negatives is constantly open, although he will be under a big microscope as England manger it wont be as constant as at Bayern...plus your expected to win everything all the time at Bayern, yes he will be expected to win most the time with England but aren't serial trophy winners

I think Spain, England, and Germany will each have a 20% chance of winning the World Cup.
@MinisterManDanАй бұрын
The Americanization of club front offices means the manager of a big club is going to be the head coach, not a manager in the traditional sense. To quote the American gridiron coach Bill Parcells, big clubs are going to ask their manager to cook the food but not buy the groceries. So if you want to manage in an environment where there’s no interference from upstairs, international is for you
@UMS-dj3sxАй бұрын
This is nonsense. The English model in which the manager had the full control of tactics, training and transfers was an exception. In continental Europe the roles were always spilt up and clubs had someone who is in charge of training and tactics, the coach and one or more people who do the admin, transfers, etc.- a manager or director of football (or the club president). For examples look at Spain, Italy or Germany. Take Bayern for example, they became the juggernaut they are when Uli Hoeness was the manager and they had a head coach (who could change frequently). Or Real Madrid: the coach at Real never had control over the transfer and those were always done by Perez or whatever sporting director they had. Or AC Milan where Berlusconi did all the transfer business while the coach did the training. Those are some of the most successful clubs in the world.
