Scenario 2 : As the business obtained large amount of loan to finance the purchase of new machinery so, this may increase the expenses of the business as higher interest needs to be paid due to the fact that the higher the amount of loan is the higher interest to pay. As a result, profit for the business will fall leading to less money or cash for dividend payment to shareholders. Scenario 3 : As the business changes from batch production to flow production it will reduce the average cost of the business as machinery will be used that may increase output efficiently due to the fact that it would accelerate the production and will be operating for longer hours. So in this case business can enjoy the advantage of economies of scale therefore, it could bulk purchase raw materials and components and receive discount as it will be a large or growing business and supplier will tend to allow discount to growing business thus, the cost of production will fall and profit for the business will increase. Another ways it may increase profit is that machinery used may make no mistake or human errors unless it is functioning properly so, this may reduce the likely chance for defects or design flaw for the products or output produced.Therefore, it will improve customer service and help maximize revenue and profit will also increase. Furthermore, business can maintain good relationship with customers and establish an improved customer loyalty which may attract new customers and help business grow further thus, increase market share of the business and reduce the competitor's market share as customer loyalty increases and business has more market power.
