Dhuno nach is a part of maithila region not Bengal culture u can search on Google types of maithila dance Here are some types of dances from the Mithila region of India and Nepal: Jhijhiya A folk dance performed by women and girls during the Dusshera festival. The dance is performed to honor the goddess of victory, Durga, and to protect families from dark magic and witches. During the dance, women balance clay lanterns on their heads while dancing in a rotation. Dhuno-Naach Performed during Durga Puja and Kalipuja, this dance is accompanied by the sound of Shankha-Dhaak. Domkach A folk dance performed by women in the bridegroom's house during a marriage ceremony. Jat-Jatin A popular folk dance performed by a man and a woman, usually when the man is going away to work. The dance reflects poverty and sorrow. Dances. Jhijhiya, Dhuno-Naach and Domkach are the Cultural Dance of Mithila region of India and Nepal. Jhijhiya is mostly performed at time of Dusshera, in dedication to Durga Bhairavi, the goddess of victory. While performing jhijhiya, women put lanterns made of clay on their head and they balance it while they dance...
