Great video. I’ll walk miles on rivers to find these AMAZING pools of catfish & I’ll catch some, but I would triple it if I could set the hook & real in better. They always seem to spit it out or something. I’m new tho so just takes practice

I've got to say, Frank is the kind of guy I want for a guide. I love his jokingly sarcastic way of dealing with clients. You can tell he knows his stuff and loves his job, but always getting his clients into fish. Got to book some time with him soon some day!!!

This guy Frank is a real piece of work. He is the P.T. Barnum of the Pere Marquette River. Make no mistake he has amazing knowledge of the river and knows how to fish but his ego and personality get in the way.

at the 9:00 mark, you can clearly see the fish was snagged on right side near its head. you can see the line leading to that side of the fish instead of the fish's mouth. not hating, but its to be expected when fishing off the beds instead of the deep holes they tend to hold in.

Thank God it is. The quieter and more reserved the better. There was way too much talking and whooping for me on this vid but I watched it. I can't even make it 3 minutes of the many Jizmennial vids out there. Ridiculous.

Using a circle hook is good for beginners since you just reel it in instead of setting the hook urself. I sucked with J hooks at first & still kinda do. Idk how but I do
