Modern cars might be faster, have much more advanced technology but these old cars neuron activation in ways the modern ones cant, just the sound is like an angry predator full of aggression.

The black Modsports Turner Cosworth race car always loves tearing at the leash, whether it's Brooklands or Silverstone, it's like a Terrier. The owner, who only lives locally always enjoys chatting to the spectators, and let's my kids sit in the car.

Thanks for this, it was certainly an excellent day out! It's a pity YT viewers don't get more information on the cars. Driving the hill competitively is a lot more challenging than it looks and I imagine filming it well is too.

Thank you, the problem with adding more detail is the time required to set it against the number of people who will watch the video. Of course more effort may equal more views but I've got other things I'd rather give the time to.

It was an incredible event, I'd have gone again 3 months later if I'd known that would be the last one. They are able to do static runs with the smaller planes now but Victor, Nimrod, and Comet are not accessible and the VC10 is no more.

Many very nice cars but I don't care for the low camera position used when cars were departing, starting at about 21;00. Not the most pleasing position for viewing these magnificant machines...IMO.

I've always liked that low shot with the palace filling the background, could be an angle that's better as a photo than capturing the cars on video? Might try something different this but may suffer a lack of imagination and do the same thing again.

@@apameecopark same way as I got the body on my Chaparral 1 , I discussed it with my fabricator and paid for it to be made. Fifty years experience drafting historic buildings and making scale model aircraft helps.

Jim Hall created amazing cars that are still strikingly beautiful today asides as being incredible race cars. By any chance, do you have the Chaparral 2A body panels available for sale? Who puts loud music in a video meant to showcase the engine sound? Ok, the video is in an enclosed place where the poor thing can barely accelerate for a fraction of a second. Matches the music.

Not my choice - music was being played over speakers. I'd much prefer to have had just the car noise.
