Without a guitarist now as well, as Mark Philips recently quit. I too miss Norwood and Walt (and John Steward for that matter) I read an interview with Chris and he claims one of the issues they had with Wood was his insistence on having his bass overshadow the other instruments. While this is my favorite band of all time and I'm not and won't choose sides, I will say a couple of their performances (I have seen them 18 times total and five times in the last five years) anyway a couple of the more recent shows I still had a great time, but I did think "damn you can't even hear the guitar at all" and the bass did overwhelm everything else.

Such a sick one nighter. Highly underrated. Yarmouth, free, sigma ,wave of hope, ASIHTOS, tube>first tube… so sick .. the bass bombs in this song were so nasty
