I actually noticed the sound effect and it’s not funny it’s a cool touch if u can dodge it cuz the knife is ofc supposed to go into you so you can hear how heavy it is or whatever but it’s a cool Easter egg

Note: replace Overcharge with Call Of Brine for your own builds, much better usually. Plus when I suggest them together, replace Overcharge with Eruption. Usually more value than slightly faster gen regression.

Yea it's pretty sad. Currently imo the best idea would be to get everyone on prestige 1, then just buy perks on the shrine slowly but surely. If you play a lot you can make around 3 to 4k shards so that's 2 tier 2 perks, or a tier 3 perk (considering you unlocked tier 1 from prestiging)

@@sumurtugu Some others on KZbin are suggesting that you only need to get tier 1 then you can update via the bloodweb, but having prestiged my killer after buying "Dragon's Grip" I've gone through about 13 levels and not seen Dragon's Grip 2 appear at all.

@@Dunk1970 you level up on the blood web for your character yes, but you still wanna buy tiers on the shrine, for new characters that come out. Every tier you buy on the shrine is potentially one less level you need to level up. As for dragon's grip, you are just unlucky. It took me about 40 blood webs to get BBQ and chily 1 on blight

@@sumurtugu Thanks. It took until level 16 for the perk to appear and then I got it on L17 as well to complete it. I can see why buying it via Shards might be good for people who try to maintain many killers or survivors. Not that I get the reason for having multiple survivors. For me with one killer it was a no brainer to just get get Level 1 perk with shards and level it up through the blood web as I'm spending in the bloodweb on that killer constantly anyway.

Is game updates really tied to FPS though? This seems like a bad idea. If your FPS is really low the killer and teammates would see you update fewer times? Say your FPS is 10, would you move with "10 fps"? I don't think it's tied to FPS but is handled separately somehow.

It's not tied to FPS, but the fps limit and the server tick rate happen to be the same number (60). If you have less than 60 fps, there wouldn't be a problem because all of your frames would have new info.

Nope, Spine Chill already gives more of a speed boost than Deja Vu (6% over 5%) and Streetwise is better than Deja Vu

Engineer's toolbox has less charges, and the speed increase isn't enough to compensate. I tried it with it, and it's much slower

No one left behind currently incentivizes you for playing very team-orientated ie for unhooking and protecting hits removing that just makes downed heal speed faster which will kill some team gameplay and pick rate. BBQ and Chili at least has the aura ability

I'm guessing you are referring to We're Gonna Live Forever, and imo healing someone on the floor with double the speed is strong, but not strong enough by itself, so it makes sense it's getting an extra effect. BBQ on the other hand, should have some secondary effect too, because just seeing auras (something the survivors can counter with lockers, keep in mind you can't "counter" healing speed) is not enough by itself.

I’ve noticed this for a while and I absolutely hate it, if you don’t have the specific add-on it should be based more on predictions and reads than survivors locking one locker and then locking the other when you come out.

I noticed this for the first time today after 1.6k hours. While you are a survivor playing against the Demogorgon, while a survivor is in the process of destroying one of Demo's portals (and you are elsewhere, maybe far away) you will hear a pretty cool but subtle sound effect. The portal is also shown to you in a white aura during this time. I'm not sure if you need to be within or outside of a certain range or if it matters whether you're looking at or away from the portal during that time, because I never noticed it before. It's distinct from the sound effect that plays when the portal is fully destroyed, that one is easy to notice.

Yep, other survivors see the Aura of a portal being destroyed. The killer can also grab you while breaking a portal. Like he would grab you from a Gen
