Thank you so much, I was in my bathroom for like over an hour panicking that I’d have to go to a doctor if I didn’t get that thing removed. The one finger trick literally got it out in less than a minute

In the 60s, you were told to put your Down Syndrome in a mental asylum. Telling mothers with any medical problems to abort was common. Doctors and the medical profession were very paternalistic.

My must-haves for bed rest: projects. Right now, I’m doing embroidery, drawing, etc. I have suffered a miscarriage before and I’m having complications so I’m on bed rest. But I can’t not be productive. That would drive me crazy. It’s good to keep your mind busy and off of the stress of this time.

I love this programme. I cried at every single episode. Its so well done. The book is fantastic too. Its about poverty and the start of the NHS. Its an absolute love letter to our wonderful NHS which gave people living in poverty access to proper free health care which everyone has the right too imo.

10:41 unfortunately.... You have d*cks everywhere no matter the era ^^" My aunt tore a new one to a doctor. Not pregnancy related though. She caught filariasis in her childhood in Africa. After so many winters in Europe, the worm is long dead but she still has difformities in her hand that are simply impossible to operate. She went to the hospital for a broken wrist and the doctor was giving a lesson on filariasis to his students.... without asking her consent.... And manhandling her hand to show it to the students until she exploded and threw a glass of water to his face... She was assigned another doctor...

I love this show as it shows women caring for women. Men will never truly understand what women go through, though i admit there are AMAZING men that are midwives and doctors it’s just to amazing to see WOMEN supporting WOMEN!! Woman power!!

Thank you @DoctorNicole I’m a very tense person so there was a ton of suction what I did to get it out was use a lubricant (I used coconut oil), plus one leg propped up, used one finger with the oil on it to push against the cup as much as I could to break the seal, then I wiggled and wiggled it very gingerly downward to get her out!

I took 3 imodium pills because I was having diarrhea and the next day nothing wants to come out. Really regret taking it now. I want to poop but when I sit its like my body doesn't want to. I hope this Imodium wears off soon.

Beautiful video! Lovely encouragement. I became a Christian *after* getting married and my husband is not a believer but still made in His image (and also still a wonderful man), so this is a nice reminder as my husband is still an image bearer and this is all still completely applicable as well as beneficial to demonstrating a heart after the Lord to my husband. Thank you!

Nice one! Making his eyes roll back as he immerses in bliss, it's a mind-blowing experience, I did what I mentioned last week and the look on his face says it all, I learned the exact moves following Jevie Hindlerg’s advice. After go’ogling her latest it all keeps getting crazier!

I'm surprised that you're surprised about the gp telling her to terminate. This happens all the time. In fact, in many places it's the norm so I'm surprised that you in America haven't seen that. I've come across countless stories from the US, UK and Canada and many parts of Europe both of mothers being told "we recommend a termination" and actual state policies which encourage manipulative approaches which emphasise abortion such as Iceland. They call it "choice" but you get repeatedly "reminded of your 'options' and 'the risks' if you refuse abortion. A survey in the UK found that I think 79% of mothers (including those who did not give birth in the end) whose children were diagnosed with Down syndrome before birth felt pressured to abort. In this episode, the reason she's told that is most likely more because she's seen as a "defective who shouldn't be allowed procreate" rather than out of any concern for her. There is a long history of this eugenic practice. I'm very surprised you haven't heard of the foetal stethoscopes used. Are you not taught what to do if your equipment breaks down? Go to any less technologised country and you'll find them in common use. Call the Midwife is based on real memoirs and is a really thrilling must for any medical/nursing/midwifery nerd!

I had 2 miscarriges.. first one we saw heartbeat at 6 weeks but no heartbeat at 8weeks. The second one we didint saw anythinf but the gestacional sac on 5 or 6 weeks… and because my body didnt notice none of the timesand the last time I got septic and almost died! So, I guess you can imagine how terrible scared I am all the time. After many years of IVF, I am currently 7 weeks and 3 days (saw a heartbeat at 6 weeks- Thank God) but I am so scared to wait until the 12 week to do another sonogram and I domt kmow what to do. We didnt tell anyone about it yet and we didnt before, but I am having anxiety attacks everytime I see a bit of brownish stain on toilet paper and I overanalize my symptons and panick when I domt see my breats big or sore or dont feel nausea etx.. Thank you for sharing your story and for hearing to mine. Wishing you a health and happy pregnancy and a beautiful health baby in your arms soon! ❤

Trying to find a new app now the Premom was terrible at predictions for my irregular cycles, actually they aren't that irregular. It's every 35 to 38 days. But Premom would reset me at a 30 day cycle every month also can’t share with your spouse.
