Everything has been positive with this turbo. I have supporting mods and tuning. But overall I’ve been happy with it.

Hey man im looking at replacing my turbo now that im at 300k miles. Do you know if its a drop in with stock tuning? I want maybe a little extra power but looking for this sound.

Yea it’s a drop in, and you’ll want it tuned for sure

People don’t do boost leak test after installing it. They end up having a leak that will quickly ruin the turbo

Then it won't be an Lb7 lol this is a vgt turbo. I mean, you could put one on and remap the ecm but youll just sound like an lly

@@NickZ-dn7cr can't map an LB7 ecm to control a VGT. Best you can do if you ABSOLUTELY want it, would be to essentially pull all of the harness out of an LLY, the FICM, the ECM, the heads, injectors, and a few other important bits, and put them into the LB7. At that point...just put an LLY in there 😂

What have you done to make it roal coal? My LLY is stock with a 5 inch exhaust and a bullydog tune but I don't get much smoke coming out

Bigger injectors and it will dump. Rolling coal isn’t good for your truck your just igniting fuel in your turbo as if it was in the cylinder and just more wear and tear. Also less power than clean tunes
