I enjoyed the series about the Price sisters Say Nothing. It was very well put together but was ultimately a Gerry Adams hatchet job. 24 of the 26 people interviewed for the book/series were anti agreement and anti SF. Still a very good show though.

This was British Colonialism across the World. Normalise the situation first. Divide the People. Spread Propaganda. And Conquer one by one. We see the same in Palestine today. Colonialism was the Greatest Crime of all.

The full facts about the 'troubles' will never be officially revealed because they would be much too devastating to the Establishment i.e. British Intelligence role in 'the troubles', including the top politicians who authorised the collusion with loyalist death squads and their role in the many murders, bombings due to their paid informants in all the paramilitary groups. UK state broadcaster BBC used a Panorama program to pin the blame for collusion on a retired army general who was the top army general at the time. Utterly absurd of course that such a massive operation could have operated without knowledge, authority and instructions from Downing Street, Thatcher, etc. MI5 installed hidden cameras in the Kincora Boy's Home in Belfast, to entrap, blackmail politicians and paramilitary leaders and manipulate the 'troubles' to serve its own agenda.

Thanks for this very interesting interview. This brings me back to the Postal strike of 1979 when the State used hundreds of cops to crush us outside the central sorting office. Yet less than a mile away there was a traffic junction which became notorious where drivers unlucky to catch a red light were regularily robbed by heroin addicts in broad daylight. This junction was discussed on daytime radio at the time so everyone knew about it. The victims were usually defenceless women who had a brick put through their window so the thief could snatch their handbags. Weeks before our strike I saw a Garda superintendant being asked why the there was no police presence at this junction. He said he could not spare a single cop for this street as his boys were out chasing Republicans. Yet whilst the Gardai could not protect the law abiding women of Ireland they emptied out Templemore to beat the crap out of a bunch of decent working class men. Their priorities remain the same !

I suppose when you betray your community, they wont accept you back; Ever. For if you betray them ince, you will again: for the coin of the Realm. Be that real or imagined wrongdoings, for a reward. A bought man can and will be bought again, and again. He sold his soul and word very cheaply, away from his community and family. I believe he sold himself for the coin of the Realm. In life you reap what you sow, by your actions, how you raise or dont raise your children. But noone likes anyone whose word is worthless. All informants find that out as they are exposed by how they are treated. As you can see here, even Special Branch, once he was pulled in, treated him as lesser than. Even school teachers speak disparagingly about their school yard snitches in the lunch room. It is that way then, now and always will be. Proof of that is there is not 1 country that has effective legislation to protect government whistleblowers. Even the govenment dont like informants 😂
