As far as I have determined, there has been no transcription for a modern classical guitar. If you want to play it, you're gonna have to decipher the baroque tablature.

Brilliant playing in this partial offering of Le Cocq's wonderful Folies with its exceptional final batterie, but the aggressive strumming in the opening statement of the theme seems uncalled for.

How was tuned this baroque Guitar ? François Le Coq noticed in the introduction of "Recueil des pièces pour Guitare" the french tuning system was from the first to the 5th course: e'e' / hh / gg / Dd / aa. But it seems this guitar has been tuned according to the italian system: e'e' / hh / gg / Dd / Aa Bravo molto bellissimo

jimbob jimbob That's not exactly.the case. I said that in the french tuning system used by François Le Cocq the fourth string is tuned in Dd while it seems in this performance the guitar was tuned according the italian system (4th string Dd and fifth string Aa). The tuning way was indicated by François Le CoCq in his "Recueil des pièces de Guitarre", as shown above (page 13/145 of the PDF file) www.delcamp.net/pdf/recueil_des_pieces_de_guitare_de_fran%C3%A7ois_le_cocq_gand_1729.pdf
