Over here in the UK, we have the full cab and 4-1 buckets, pity there is not one here, great review...
@paulkandiКүн бұрын
Its not the hydraulic cylinders, or rams, its the stopper on the loader arm casting, at the cab end; this is to stop the arms from going to high and rams coming out of the cylinders..same for the bucket curl.. These can be filed back very slightly, giving more hight, but loader will have to be disassembled, this is not easy, as most Diecast models are assembled using rivets, instead of screws...

Sad to hear of your passing Tommy. Ive always wondered why they dont make many Mack R model trucks in 1/50th scale given how iconic they still are in the construction industry.

Hey I just noticed that it has a pin between the track and the lift arm on each side and it also has a groove on the inside of the lift arm for the blade, I dunno if I pin could be adjusted to Raise or Lower the Blade or maybe if the pins are cut the blade can be adjusted to the height you want apart from the Cross bar connected to the front of the engine going across to the right side of the lift arm

The hedgerow cutter worked, but not that effective. Took an M5A1 Stuart multiple times to get through a more regular bush. There's plenty of footage from it.

If you like detail of models, you should check out more First Gear models. I personally feel that First Gear makes models that match and in my opinion exceed the quality of the CCM models. I personally feel that they are definitely above the diecast masters models, as good as they are, and the First Gear models aren't as expensive as the CCM , in my experience. But First Gear doesn't make the Caterpillar models, unfortunately.

You have mentioned the mirrors on the Brekina models. The mirrors are fragile. If securing the mirror is desired use a drop of adhesive or CA 30 second variety with a drop of a sharp tooth pick in the hole and secure. To transport and store, notch out a space for the left side mirror in the shipping cradle and place in the sleeve to store or transport. Cut's down on the chances of damage. Do the same for the left exhaust stack if needed.
