Absolutely agree. The problem with being at the front is that the sound distorts via a phone mic. But then again if your at the back it's hard to capture the image. At my age I can't remember concerts so I record. Otherwise I'd just stay in the moment

Your right to an extent. They weren't keen to play a lot of their classics. I don't know what to think of that really. It's nice to see a band sticking to it's beliefs and pushing forward but at the end of the day they have a lot of amazing songs and I want to hear them all. I like a classic. Light show was ace though.

@@ANiCKiN I'm not knocking them. I enjoyed the gig. If I saw Maiden and they didn't play the Trooper I'd be disappointed. That's not the same as a lack of enjoyment or appreciation. I'm fully supportive of the lads and their music. Have been since the mid 90's

The neck pick up drops between full volume and maybe 25% volume at random and sometimes doesn’t produce any sound at all. It goes back to the shop tomorrow. Not sure this guitar was meant to be, this is now my third attempt at getting it. The code is a mixed bag in my view. 100 choices is too many, they would have been better off giving us say 10 really good tones rather than 100 of dubious nature. ‘Virus’ for instance is a waste of time and there also seems to be a lot of cleans that are very similar and some rock tones that are just fuzzy. It’s also a pain to get the blue tooth to connect. I contacted Marshall admin asking for help and got no reply. Same on the code forum. What I would say is that there are about 6 tones I really like, including the ‘80’s rock’ and ‘atmosphere’ but I use ‘soulful lead’ for almost everything. I’ve got a Boss Katana head coming to me at the end of the month (I hope) that’s after another les Paul disaster, the last les Paul I bought got delivered back to the guitar shop I bought it from instead of being delivered to me and consequently got a box dropped on it in the store room which snapped the head off. Well sounds like we got the same kinda luck. If wasn’t for bad luck, I wouldn’t have no luck at all. They’ll have you rockin in short order. I bought a Chibson, took the chance ya’know. Came out the box a wreck. Fixed it up and plays ok. I’ll break it out, take it for a spin... let me know how the Les Paul comes back to life.

On the CODE I stick to a JTM and modify it to taste. If I get a moment I can share the settings if you like. Don’t like any of the stock stuff. Never understood that... make an amp with 100 spots... make each one suck. That takes work!
