Yes. If they also draft another TE, then having him could help show them the way.

Easily the Hail Mary. I was so mad. Bears were driving to take the lead so I went out and smoked. Came back inside and Jayden hit Terry. Then the Hail Mary happened. I screamed for a solid 5 minutes. I'm 41 years old. Lol. Also I went to the game vs Tennessee. That was a pretty good day too. The team is 3-0 when I attend games. 😊

@Rizzy12282 күн бұрын
DK is the most overrated receiver in the league just because of his size/speed this isnt madden. He is very good, but if we need to spend top draft capital(payne/allen is a pipe dream), I'd rather just trade for Garret Wilson. I also wouldn't hate if they checked in on tyreek(he is still elite and will be cheaper to acquire due to age)if he still wants a new situation. The locker room is a good point, but this is why you build the locker room this way to have the ability to add an ultra talented guy who needs some special treatment.

With the OL and WR classes being so weak, once we've retained our core guys Wagner/Ertz/Bates/Chinn/Fowler/Way, I'd spend a big chunk of our cap Improving the OL and adding weapons 1st in Free Agency. I know a lot of people are saying it and even more people are poo-pooing it, but we should be targeting Tee Higgins #1 as a big Noah Upgrade, LT Alaric Jackson, a Franchise-quality LT, who would let us move Coleman to RT improving both spots. Restructure Lattimore and + DJ Reed, or Cut him to pay Reed & 1/3 of Carlton Davis' deal, who matches AJ Brown better. #4 LG Teven Jenkins. Allegretti is solid, but he'd be better as depth like he was in KC and Teven is Cosmi Level. Luckily for us his injury history, the reputation stink of being a Bears OL, and his potential excitement to leave there should let us land him for little more than what we gave Allegretti. Upgrading the starting OL and the depth. #5 NT Poona Ford,29 y/o 7th in run defense and 5th overall at the DT position according to PFF this season. Coming off a $1.7m contract and NT not commanding a ton of money, it shouldn't take much of a raise to reunite him with Wagner on a Ring Hunt in Washington. His teammate Khalil Mack is welcome to come on this Ring Safari too if he's willing to take a team-friendly deal. He's still setting an edge/stopping the run at an elite level and being a + pass rusher. 3 more potentially low-cost high-value guys: SS/LB Markquese Bell '22 DAL UDFA high level fit/play in DQ's defense, but not their new scheme. He could be eager to reunite with DQ/Whitt and back to playing his best ball after a down season. Then 26 y/o Lavishka Shenault, a 6'2 220lbs Discount Deebo with KR and YAK ability who's been productive as an auxiliary piece before but has the talent to fill a bigger role elevating the screen game, which is an important part of our offense. He Finally, we can see if Davante Adams wants to play with Jayden/Win enough to give us an OBJ Rams-type contract too. After a Free Agency like that I'm dumping almost the whole draft in Defense. My Dream draft to go with this Free agency (DE Mike Green, NT Deone Walker, LB Danny Stuttsman, CB Mello Dotson, OT Chase Lundt or Charles Grant falling to us after skipping the Senior Bowl, more likely RB Kalel Mullings, DE/LB Collin Oliver, RB Brashard Smith)
@Qbanprinz15Күн бұрын
Wishful thinking but not gonna be able to sign all those players. Higgins alone will be $30M. Mack on a 1-2yr deal is $10M minimum. Jackson will command close to $20M. But hey, I'm all for it
@washingtoncommandcenter5541Күн бұрын
@@Qbanprinz15 We're at about $80m in cap right now, in a rare position with contracts ending without dead money to upgrade without hits. A few easy extensions or restructures could bring us up to $130m before cutting anyone if they really wanted to go all in( I mean we brought in contract whizz Brandon Sosna for a reason, and just extending Terry and restructuring Payne could give us $26m more). Cutting Wylie with Coleman moving over offsets Jackson's cost by $7.7m. It would be nice if they renegotiated with Allen extending him another year or 2 to spread his cap hit and gaining up to another $11m or so, to keep him around for the winning. That would pay for a year of Mack, but they will likely cut him saving $16m which might pay for Mack and Ford together. DJ Reed wanted to come here at the deadline, he's at the age where he's likely thinking about winning and with NY still paying him $4m we might get him for a little under the $13m he's projected at. Davante Adams is in the same boat as Reed, in Ring hunting mode and he's been talkin about how much he wanted to play with JD5 all year so he could easily come for an OBJ-Rams Vet Min contract. The resigns I mentioned + Mariota that I forgot average $5m a piece +2m for a kicker we'd be looking at a very doable $125m even less with some slick contract work to give some space after for signing a cheap draft class(late 1st and 2nd pay, a 3rd, 5th and 3 7ths)

I thought all the rookies who played looked promising. Brandon Coleman showed that he could eventually be a near franchise-quality LT, or we could sign an already franchise-quality LT like Alaric Jackson and kick him over to RT and be darn near great on OL(would love to give Teven Jenkins a prove-it deal to duke it out with Allegretti to potentially upgrade LG and the depth). DQ/Whitt's UDFA SS/LB Markquese Bell is a way more likely target than Hulfanga.. Injury and poor fit for the defense led to a limited year this year but the guy was an elite fit with DQ/Whitt and he'll be considerably cheaper.

I think expecting every rookie to perform like Jayden is ridiculous. Fans need to realize that because not every rookie becomes Jayden caliber. The way I look at draft pics is after 2-3 years if nothing materializes then I’m worried. AP will always be on the microscope in how he builds this team because 1 he has an exceptional QB on a rookie deal and 2 He’s got a division rival gm that’s pretty good at his Job who has his team in the Super Bowl.

The problem with the late hit call on Mikey isn't necessarily that it got called, it's that in I think the 3rd quarter there was an egregious late hit by an eagle down the right sideline where they were past the thick white line and he intentionally brings a second arm around to knock the ball carrier over, and that wasn't called.
@iDoWhatiGottaDo5 күн бұрын

@@iDoWhatiGottaDo 3rd Quarter 7:58. Number 8 swings a second arm around to check Ertz and would have sent him to the ground if not caught. Was that a football play? Ultimately, this was the game where the previous regime’s mismanagement finally caught up to them. Peters deserves all the credit in the world for putting this roster together in one offseason, but when you go 4 years with almost no draft success, minus a couple starters, you have zero depth. Luckily, they have cap space and draft picks in the hands of smart people now.
