Thanks to the person who said star at the font it then took a minute! The instructions on here are rubbish but read the comments and find the answer. Yes line up the front two and snap them then one on the right the next on the left Then right Then left Finally the back two. Taking care all the while to align all stays as best you can each time you snap them. Hallelujah! How easy it was when someone gives you the right instructions

The bolts holding the end of the handles onto the body no longer work. They are not like this, but actual metal nuts and bolts. The bits inside the black plastic humps are loose, so the bolt has nothing to hold on to. How can I get the black plastic rim off please? The mower is still working dandy, but how do I fix this?

My sister has one and is quite satisfied with it. I'm skeptical of the cutting ability due to the airflow principles, but i live a few continents away from her so i haven't had a chance to try it myself and compare it with the hundred or more mowers i've used in my life. She says it really is great for edging and for the uneven front lawn they have. While i am guessing i would be disappointed with it in heavy use, if it works in areas i would have to use a weed trimmer, then that's a big bonus, as weed trimmers can be very fussy (managing the twine) and the vibrations and noise and mess are usually awful.

The nut and washer are well n truly rusted on and i cannot budge them. Ive tried WD40, spanner and hammer. Nothing is shifting them.

Replaced the blade and the belt keeps coming off.

This is like a cheap kids toy -plastic rubbish , I cant get the handle to stay on the grass box, I tried numerous times so when I attempt to empty the grass box the handle comes off.

The flymo contour 500e is so badly designed it cuts out all the time the line snaps all the time on grass. It’s literally the worst strimmer I’ve bought! My cheaper old flymo was far superior to this more expensive model. Do not buy this crap product! Flymo hang your heads in shame 😡🤬

I get the impression Husquvarna do not have an integration development project with integration across Flymo, Gardena, McCulloch etc… the app seems very unsecured, doesn’t really do much other than what the buttons do and it requires line of sight with the device. Would be great to have a decent app, and a login across their brands.

Can't get the blade bolt off been trying for two Weeks it's not shifting one bit! Any idea what I can use to loosen it? The tool you get with it is useless and have tried drenching it in wd40 over night then trying again but it's still not moving.

Why does my line keep unravelling? I have fitted as per instructions and this video but i cant go more than 1 minute at a time before having to stop and feed it through holes again and its bloody annoying

Last time I used my strimmer the line wrapped round my 6ft fence panel and ripped it out of the posts so beware 😁

Screwdriver in hole, excellent idea. Mine had not been changed since we got it a long time ago, and it was very tough to undo. ... Even needed a couple of squirts of WD40

How does this maintain a constant height? I mean, when you enter a though grass area, it can decrease the speed of the blade/fan and cut a bit lower

Using the spanner provided its quite easy to adjust the cutting height of the mower.

Mine just caught fire! Only the second time of using out of the box from new. Steer clear if I were you.
