Samsonite Wheeled Underseater, and if you are lucky try the discount stores like Ross. I scored mine for $50. Believe it or not. I also highly recommend everyone take a look at the measurements on the actual Spirit sizers. You will be surprised.

And I’ll raise you one or two.. Air Canada and Porter are 17x13x6, and WestJet is 16x13x6 (yes, I’m from Canada, I fly these airlines). 10 inches is pretty narrow, at least we have 13 inches, but 6 inches in depth? That sucks! Have to say, I regularly fly with thicker bags (8 or 9”), and (so far), haven’t been called out yet. These airlines are killing us with fees!

My ticket for Spirit cost me 79 bucks. That included a checked bag, personal item, And my seat pick.. I dont understand why people are complaining about prices. That was round trip, no stops.

Absolutely!!!! In Miami, Atlanta and Los Angeles, it’s super common. It’s frustrating because it’s like I’m literally coming to bring you money. Why isn’t that enough? LOL

It's mostly something you'll see at touristy spots or try your luck with street parking. It's the city so space is finite and sometimes will cost money. The only other restaurant I can think of that charges for parking is Mel's Diner which is indeed a touristy diner.

I agree completely, the Apanemo really is amazing. The staff makes sure everyone has perfect care and are great fun. First class, 5 stars from me. PS I’m 5’6” and can’t see any height issues. I’ve stayed three times and 7 weeks over all.

I am going to Destin Fl in July and staying at this hotel. I wish that there were more videos like yours about this hotel, so I know what attractions are walking distance. I am still getting a rental car to explore all of Destin and may take a mini trip to Panama City.

Good luck! Spirit isn’t my first option, but it’s always an option! Try not to overstuff the bag or it won’t fit, otherwise you’re good to go!

$30? You must have mistaken this with American Airlines checked bag fee. Spirit starts around $58 just to carry a bag on the plane that doesn’t fit the top slot. And if you have a bag that doesn’t fit in the slot, paying at the gate is $99.

I think it depends when you get it. During booking, added on via their email marketing, and at the gate all seem to have different prices. Which is absolutely ridiculous since it’s the same bag on the same plane. SMH

@@theetravelingwriter during booking it’s around $58. If you come back later and a few days before your flight, it’s higher. I’ve seen from $68-$72. At the gate it’s $99. Over the past two years I have flown spirit over 25 times. I’ve only checked a bag twice. Paid for carry on about the same. All other times it’s been free, because of how I pack. 😊💵

The way its going ...Eventually - we won't be allowed to take ANYTHING on a flight. You'll be lucky to be able to take a single change of clothes. But it's hard to blame the Airlines for that when you look at what people bring with them. You are typically allowed to bring ONE carry on and ONE SMALL Personal Item. YET people STILL DO NOT LISTEN which is why there is NEVER enough Overhead Luggage Space which forces the rest of us to TRY to squeeze everything into ONE tiny 15 inch carry on. The way it's going.....we will be forced to fit everything into 9x9 bag soon because others refuse to listen.

LOL! Expect the best, prepare for the worst because it was not a great experience. Very possible you will have a better one because I think that location was an anomaly.
